A majority of sites are seasonal. It is very quiet during the week and festive on the weekends! The owners are so sweet and accommodating. The facilities are dated but functional. There is a restaurant no more than 1/2 mile down the road, a state park with multiple hiking trails and boating options and a little store that has reasonably priced great food. It’s hard to beat and the prices are budget friendly!!!

Pros: Pool was nice. The firewood isn’t overpriced and they deliver it to your site. Staff was nice with my few interactions Cons: Confederate flags and Trump flags scattered all over seasonal RV sites. A lot of rundown RV sites that need maintenance. Not nearly enough bathrooms for the property. If you stay in the back primitive campsites the closest toilet is a dirty porta potty. Also staying in the back primitive sites many of them are overgrown and have rundown trailers and tractors left for good not very good for appearance. There is some sort of dump or recycling company directly behind the primitive site I stayed that woke us up around 5am. Poison ivy everywhere. Campsite was littered with trash upon arrival.

The pros: They bring firewood to your site and the pool is nice. The cons: Confederate flags proudly displayed at p;rominent sites on the way in. LOUD music and dogs barking past 2am in the morning. People driving golf carts at high speeds past our site. Lack of parental supervision of kids at pool and elsewhere. Few of the primitive sites had enough flat area for a tent and a vehicle, some were filled with rusting trash.

Yes.. Just let them know. I'm seasonal and we have 3. Must be leashed of course. Hope this helps. Enjoy, it's a great campground.
It was $42 per night for a normal night. Rates go up a bit for holidays
