Can't really give them the benefit of the doubt when they take my mail claiming it was "full", send all of it back ahead of their schedule, the leave a vacancy note in my mailbox in the span of 5-6 days. Dropping the ball is a massive understatement. On top of that the clerk was rude and tried giving me a hard time trying to read the note they themselves left. You'll easily witness grown people throwing a hissy fit over it at any hour so I WANT to give them credit but non-subsidized businesses just don't get away with this kind of thing. In stark contrast, the location further north towards Orchards is consistently pleasant as a daily patron. Management needs jail time at this point.

Absolutely the most awful service I have ever experienced, on multiple occasions. I'll share my most recent, from this week. I get two notes in the mailbox on the same day. One says "First notice" and the other says "final notice". They have a certified letter for one of my businesses that needs signed for. USUALLY they come inside to the front desk for this, but instead he left the "sorry we missed you" notes in my "group" box, a half mile away. The reason he put on the tag was "unknown company". Ya'all. They have been delivering mail for the company to my address for FOUR YEARS. In fact, there were 3 other pieces of mail for that company in my box WITH the note stating "unknown company"!?! I tried calling the number of this location, which is the one the note says to call. For days, I listened to it ring. Today (on the 32nd dial for the morning) someone accidentally answers instead of hitting the cancel button... I LITERALLY heard them say "oops!". Then they let the phone just sit there with an open line for 30 minutes! I was listening to them talk about lunch breaks, and laughing, and calling out things to each other. I just kept saying "hello?" every couple minutes, or when the voices got louder (meaning they were closer to the handset). After the first 10 minutes of this I dialed the USPS 800 number. Spoke to someone there. They said "Well they can only leave that note if they came in and found no one to sign.", I explained this is a business office and there is someone at the front counter from 730am to 6pm EVERY SINGLE DAY, and NO ONE had come in asking for a signature. **There have been YEARS of terrible experience, multiple reports filed and complaints made and even a petition one of my neighboring businesses put together that was signed by 76 local businesses complaining about our driver, and the way this location is run. The USPS does not care one bit.

My package was sitting here available for pick up and when I arrived the lady in front of me was told her package was damaged so she left empty handed. When it was my turn I was told they couldn't locate my package. My sister was unable to accept my package since it had my name on it yet the mailman said it could be forwarded to my house 2 hours away. I gave my sister my address and she passed the info along. I thought my package was being forwarded yet tracking said it was ready for pick up. Thats when I found out after driving 2 hours it was lost. Now 2 weeks later I'm notified by text that my package is being returned to sender. The lady said she would take my phone number and address and my package would be forwarded if she found it. She said surely it was just being sorted so she would find it and id have it sent to my house. Nope. Now this package is rerouted back to the sender because of this place and their poor communication and inability to forward a package which shouldn't be too hard if they could even locate mail pieces which they can't.. such a waste of my day and ill be sure to just have my sisters name put on anything next time. I still get mail sent to my house from the renter who lived here 5 years ago yet my sister can't accept a package for me that had her address on it. Pfff. They made this way more messy than it had to be.

Edit: I HATE having to come here. The employees don't seem to care about you or your problems, the wait time is ALWAYS more than 30 minutes (usually an hour), employees move slow, they don't answer phone calls, they've lost my mail and didn't care. No one leaves here with a good experience. I wish they would do better. It just seems to keep getting worse! I wish I could rate less than 1 star.

because they dont care.
they don't care, they all get paid if the job is done or not
I have never got them to answer there phone. Call main branch.
Info tracking isn't the mail you get that day. It means it's on it way. Has anything changed with your delivery status? Are you new to the address, have a vacation hold. Had a recent forward? Many different possibilities? If none of those go to the 136th Street station and ask for the supervisor of that address. Hope this helps. Vancouver postal carrier
Hi Becky, Typically Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays are the busiest days, with customer lines out the door. Its best to call Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, roughly between 1-4pm. It starts getting busy again right around 4pm until closing at 5pm. Hope this helps! -Clerk @ USPS East Vancouver
Hi Anne, Thanks for your question! It is the carriers' responsibility to retrieve the mis-delivered parcel and deliver it to the correct address. Hope this helps! -Clerk @ USPS East Vancouver
Hi Laura, Thanks for your comment. Not sure if your problem is resolved yet, but I suggest going on USPS.COM and setting up a temporary forward or change of address until you are able to come in. We typically hold mail for 30 days, but extensions are granted for vandalized Cluster Mailboxes or specific circumstances. Our technicians are working very hard to repair all the vandalized Cluster Mailboxes in the Vancouver area. Thanks again for your continued patience as we deal with the vandalism as a community! Hope this helps! - Clerk at USPS East Vancouver
This question area is answered by various Google maps users. You will want to go to the USPS.com web site and find the appropriate contact information for the past office directly to get the best answer for this question.
Hi Jacey! This question place is answered by community members. There is a lot of information at usps.com about this as well as contact info for more details. On the site, go to the "Track & Manage" menu at the top, then "Mailbox Guidelines" on the right side of that menu. That information should get you set. The contact us link on that site can also be used if you have specific questions or need to get in touch for things that require postmaster permission.

My mailbox was broken into and reported. It has been three months. I called someone did answer but said they did not realized it was broken into.
Sorry, can't help on this one. I believe you're referring to locations in Canada. The USPS facility I spoke of is in Vancouver, Washington, USA.
What date in question?
