Our child was really behind reading level after doing kindergarten remotely - 1st grade was proving to be quite the challenge prior to starting sylvan. We knew of sylvan and decided it would be worth checking out; boy, we are sure glad we did. Within the first month we saw a vast difference in her ability. She really struggled with her confidence and they helped with that, too. If you’re considering doing it, I highly recommend. They really focus on the foundational skills to bring your child to success. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and thorough with their explanation of the curriculum. Just really can’t say enough good things.

Sylvan greatly helped our child to navigate through the educational turmoil due to COVID by mitigating the loss of class time support. With the return to in-person learning, Sylvan continues to assist our child by reinforcing learning targets.

I put my daughter in Sylvan Learning after doing a Spanish immersion program for a year. The Spanish program didn't work out and left her really behind in reading when she started English school. With the help of Sylvan Learning, she is learning to read and best of all, she is enjoying it. My daughter loves her teachers, especially Ms. Maria. If your child needs some academic help, this is a good place to go.

My daughter entered Sylvan with hesitation about her math skills. She now just earned an "A" on her recent report card and her confidence has gone up as well! All the staff are friendly and my daughter developed a great rapport with Alexandra. Maria worked with me to change schedules when needed and I really appreciated it!

We can help ESL students improve the skills that they have. We do not teach the English language from the ground up, but we do help students improve their vocabulary, comprehension and writing skills.
Our programs are designed to work best with ages 5 - adult.
In determining your tutoring budget, please consider that at Sylvan you are hiring a team of professionals to assess your child's needs, design and implement a program to specifically address those needs and to provide on-going monitoring and measurement of the program's success. We also provide a professional learning environment and all materials, including resources such as manipulatives, textbooks, computers and more. Parents typically pay between $300-$500 per month depending upon their child's needs and program goals.
