Didn't want to give a one star as the staff were really nice... The hotel is old and desperately needs upgrade. Our bathroom seem to have mold on the ceiling. The wood at the bottom of the AC unit was not attached, Towels had an odor, Breakfast was not exciting at all. We were booked into another hotel which closed, our travel agent booked us into the Hampton... It would have never been a choice for us.. We we're concerned after reading the reviews, Some said it was not in a safe area...

Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and all appliances worked. Room came with a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. Hot Breakfast was nice although average. Whole building looks kind of old and ratty though. Bed sounded like it was going to fall apart anytime I moved and was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Area seems a little sketchy… overall it is a good place to crash but I would not stay here for more than a night or two

The hotel is old and needs an upgrade but I’d like to recognize the person (night auditor) who checked me in. I believe his name is Courtney. My flight was canceled and I was stranded and all hotels in the area were sold out due to spring break. After calling 10 different hotels, I was finally able to check in around 2:30. I’m grateful to Courtney for his over the top customer service, his dedication and passion towards hospitality. We don’t come across such courteous people too often. He deserves recognition and I wish him success in future.
