The pictures they post are lies. The pool is dirty. They left dirty breakfast dishes poolside all day into evening. Rooms are dated and smell. It looks as if they died the back of curtains to help with light coming in room but curtains are so old light comes straight on in. Oh mold algae in pool. Eating establishment is slow service and claims to give you orange juice with breakfast that is clearly Tang or some powder orange drink not juice. Overall dated and not very clean. Gives you the ick feeling in bathroom. You can stay for small amount more at much nicer place. I will say the shower has great water pressure but the tub does not drain fast enough. Claim to have spa on website and they do not. They are not on the beach even though they show pictures as if hotel is on beach. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk and across a highway.

DO NOT STAY HERE - BED BUGS - REFUSED REFUND REQUEST! My experience started out exactly how I thought it would from 4-20 to 4-23. You get what you pay for and this was a pretty medium-core experience with not much to realistically complain about. Until I decided to take a break from the sun in the lobby. Upon sitting down on the couch my girlfriend says "why is m back inching" I think nothing of it. Then I noticed that mine started to inch as well. She gets and starts to look at the couch. This is when we notice the couch is invested with bed bugs. I'm talking about a 10+ bed nest. We move everything we had close to the couch far away ASAP and notified the staff. They inspect ONLY THE couch we were sitting on without checking the other furniture in the lobby. After about 15 minutes they remove the couch from the lobby and take it back into the housekeeping area. I asked the staff for rubbing alcohol to douse everything that came in contact but all they could supply was a Lysol spray. I don't make a scene afterwards to any other guests as I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. We go sit outside and talk about what we will do moving forward. After 45 minutes housekeeping BRINGS THE COUCH BACK OUT INTO THE LOBBY. I am no expert in bed bug disposal, but I don't think you can properly remove bed bugs that easy. Not to mention there was a shoddy outlet with an open space below it right next to the couch that led into the wall. That's where it goes from insult to injury - I can understand that things like this happen but I can't let not properly quarantining the infecting area side. We ask staff who to contact for a refund we were given a card for joyp@royalclubhotels. It has now been 6 days without any response from her. After that we file a claim with Priceline. The response received " they advised that they were not made aware of any issues during your stay, and they do not feel that a compensation is due ". I'm not sure who they contacted but either they are blatantly lying, or this is just the standard response they give everyone when a refund request comes in. IF anyone from this company reads this message - ASK YOUR STAFF on duty in the dates I mentioned above I am 100% sure the staff on that day will verify that they were made aware - I wouldn't want other people to bring back bed bugs therefore, I informed them ASAP. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I was honestly a little nervous to stay here after reading some of the reviews, but i could not disagree more with the bad reviews. We had such a great stay here! The staff was all very helpful, we especially loved the bartenders who told us all the places to go. This was my first time booking a hotel, and as a bunch of college girls I was nervous about our safety prior to booking, but everything was very smooth. We stayed in one of the rooms with a kitchen which I would highly recommend. It was very spacious and clean, no bugs or roaches at all. There are a few buildings, each of which has their own pool. Our little villa area was beautiful and clean and safe. I would recommend this because the main pool by the restaurant and bar definitely gets more crowded. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay especially for the price. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

We had an amazing stay here and enjoyed the food and the company. The reviews say so much negative stuff about the rooms, but our room was clean, comfortable and easily accessible. There are several hotels with similar "motel/hotel" style and pools by the streets. We were able to get around from this location so easily. Overall it was worth the price and did not disappoint us.

Is the parking free? Also do they give you window hangers/permits or is it open to the public?

Kristen Martinez | May 15, 2020
Jeff Munn | May 16, 2020

Parking was free for us. I'm not sure why some people are reporting a $10/day fee and others are not. The hotel overall was kinda shady anyway and not what it seems like in pictures, so I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
