Went there off season. It was almost empty. Parking was also free and there was plenty of it.

Where ever there is parking, there is a playground there, saw atleast 2
BBQ Grills
Too many to count with too many benches to sit and enjoy the picnic with friends or family

Beautiful to look at all the fall colors, but the park appears to be primarily a place to visit in the warmer summer months. The park offers ample shoreline to play and relax at the beach. Campsites are also available. Pictures are of the official park brochure (dated 2022).
No. I don't know any state park that has free wifi. You're there to explore the outdoors, not to be using technology, unless it's to use your cell phone to take pictures and/or an emergency.
I don't know for certain if they can swim in the area where the lifeguard is on duty, but they can definitely swim anywhere else. There are 5 sections of the park with beaches.
No, they don't have one.
You can go 20 minutes west to lakeside state park, they have a large disc golf course. Its mostly throughout the woods so bring some bug spray for sure!
Yes, vehicle entry fee is $7 when the beach is open, $6 when closed. See this page for more details:

Are campsites full hookups? With electric and water?
Are generators allowed?

No, not full hookup. All 264 sites have electric hookup only. 84 sites have 50 amp while the rest are 30 amp. If for some reason you need to use a generator, there is a generator policy where you can use only between 9am to 11am and 5pm to 9pm (standard NYS park policy). Side note: not all loops accept pets so keep that in mind.
A and B loops have new restrooms for sure, and C loop definitely does not. I'm not sure after that, but I would assume that A and B are it for this year.
This month all can enter for $3.00 per vehicle. The governor had made all New York parks "half" price. I quote half, as it's less than half of the normal price. I am not aware of any discount for seniors.
Yes you can i had a friend that rented a site for a little over a month and he rented it weekly and told me it was the cheapest place to stay i think he said it was about 150 for the week
Can we get into the camping area to look at sites? Thinking of doing some camping there but have a larger 5th wheel so would like to see the size of the sites. Haven't been there in years.
Campsite prices vary based on utility availability (i.e. primitive site, electric/water hookups). I believe they are about $30/night during the Summer, give or take. They do have a store and bathrooms w/ showers.
When we were there in September, it was only opened on the weekends. To bad if its not open now, October, very nice store with a fruit and vegetable stand outside.
Campers are $24.per night, electric 30amp and 50 amp. Fill water at spickets. Wonderful camping here, now. Not many people, nice and quiet. Not $100 per 3 days, that is $33.00, not that much.😊
Can we bring flotation items, like boogie boards??

No
Do they have special wheel chairs with extra big wheels that make the water accessible to people that are wheel chair bound?

Joshua Rumble | Nov 4, 2018
I've been there many times, and I have never seen them offered. However, all the areas are wheel chair accessible to a point. They do not have any ramps down the beach to the water like I've seen elsewhere, so if someone was in a wheelchair, I'd imagine it'd be difficult to make it to the water through the sand. Hope this helps!!
30 AMP Sites are $24.00 per night
50 AMP sites are $26.00 per night
NOTE: An additional $4/night Friday, Saturday and Holiday. $5.00/night surcharge for Out of State Residents
