I saw website posted on July 13th that beach is closed for high bacteria. Does this happen a lot?? And is website kept up to date?? I'm concerned about our upcoming August vacation. Everyone will WANT to swim!

Its few and far between. Sometimes only certain areas are closed off while others a few miles away remain open. Most times the closings don't last very long. Although it never hurts to research a few times before your trip.
