Fantastic view.

A decent park with an overlook of the Susquehanna river. Has restroom facilities but aren't the cleanest. Happy they were there anyway. All other aspects of the park are as I would expect.

Hello. There lots of morels at this park,, wether they are edible or not, I am not educated on.
Shank's Mare outfitters upstream west side of the river rents. I guess you would have to call to know up to date pricing. But considering Mare's is the closest spot....does it matter how much? Susquehanna outfitters is further upstream...
You can, but you have to call the office and make a reservation.
The playground is kid friendly and the parking is not far from the lookout and they have pits to cookout on and picnic tables and bathrooms. The trails are under a mile. You do not have to go on the trails to get to the lookout.
The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.
Park is closed after dusk, so likely "No ".
No
As a state park they are open to all forms of camping. The best information can be obtained at the website, but the general rules still apply-carry in and carry out of all trash and waste, be respectful of that park and others and help maintain the quality and safety of our great planet.
I have been several times to the Susquehannock state park and I have not seen places for fishing. The beautiful run that goes along the rhododendron trail is small and fast, does not seem to have any fish
No permit is needed to visit the park.
You will probably have to reach out directly to them This is customer based reviews
No beach . Most of it is actually 500 + feet above the river and there is a scenic overlook that women find beautiful and romantic
There are parts in which you can ride but i would say its mostly hiking.
Look up PA Fish and Boat Commission. I believe anyone over age of 16 needs a fishing license to fish anywhere if it is land they do not personally own. But verify on Fish and Boat Commission website
There is a primitive and group camping site by the park office building. I believe it's accessible all year long, but I wouldn't recommend it in the winter as I beleive the park closes for bad snow storms
probably have to check with park
Is there a boat launch?
