We highly recommend reserving campsites well in advance on camp.IN.gov, we just heard from our campground that weekends in the month of October are full. I personally bought a Kelty kid carrier. There are very few stroller friendly trails at any of our state parks. Plus, most of what you want to see will be on moderate or difficult rated trails. I carried all three of my children in the carrier through McCormick, Turkey Run, and Shades state parks. You will like the carrier much better then a stroller, and the child can see more than if they were in a stroller.
