The park is not gated and free to enter, so the hiking trails will cost you nothing use. The lake is small but beautiful and the land is equally beautiful to explore. There is some horseback trails that I couldn't share any info on, as I have not used them.

I would go to the ranger office and ask. Yellowwood would provide more isolation than brown county.
