Great place to bring your horse to ride. It was very busy during my trip with dog trials but everything was run smoothly.

It's very boring unless you have a horse but I went on a Sunday and waited for the Park Ranger at the building who never showed.

Maximum length of stay is 14 nights in a campsite unless a park runs a special. Minimum length of stay is 2 nights. Some parks have longer minimum stay requirements during peak season. Primitive, single trailside (backpacking) sites have a 1 night minimum.

Flies can be bad in the small amount of bottom land that we have in the park, however riding higher/drier ridge lines and through the pines you’ll notice the fly population down.

Ms. Deeds, Use of the round pen and the arena are included in our admission fee. We have two types of admission here at HCB. A daily fee of $3.00 per person can be paid or we have a yearly park passport program of either $75.00 for the select (which gets you and 5 others in your vehicle into select parks) or the All passport $100.00 which gets you and 5 others into all 47 state parks.
