Adriane was just amazing!! Kept us engaged the entire time. She is hilarious and super knowledgeable. Even if you have lived in Seattle for a long time, I bet you will learn something new during this tour. 100% recommend!

Such a fun and informative tour. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. Many pics and drawings were used to help us understand more of what it was like in Seattle before and after the fire. Well worth the time and money.

Really fun tour. Had a very delightful and funny tour guide who used to be a summer counselor. Was very informative and very polite and very nice. The tour is like a total of 30 to 45 minutes with lots of stops where the tour guide explains the history of the place. Lots of stair climbing. But everything was very pleasant and paced well.

Absolutely awesome tour. Our guide, Rose, was wonderful! Engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Well priced and perfect for a rainy day. It was one of the highlights of the weekend. Great history and wonderful stories.

Its still running but only at night. You can reserve tickets online.
The tour is a walking tour, it involves walking down a few streets and going up and down stairs. There is no elevator either.
No, walking only, with a good number of stairs.
Yes. Our guide Jim was pretty good about getting the ideas across without being explicit.
We had to call the paramedics on the tour I went on a few weeks ago because it got too stuffy for a lady. If your asthma is bad, I don't recommend it.
No, was like being in your basement. Very nice tour. Highly recommend.
You can do the daytime tour, but the nighttime tour serves alcohol and you must be 21 I belive.
Absolutely....cost is the same price as an adult...no matter the age of your furbaby..
There are written translations of Seattle history leading up to the period in which the Underground was built available on the regularly scheduled public tours. You can book a private tour to request a Spanish speaking guide.
It has many prices, depending of the tour you choose, but starts in 22
Yes. There are lots of stairs, uneven ground and small corridors.
I can imagine a little dog fitting in your hands on a leash. The tour is pretty friendly.
No but they do have written translations in several languages which I though was nice.
We parked at the Butler Parking Garage on James Street (I think). I think all the parking garages around there look kind of "sketchy", including this one, but it was fine. It was kind of pricey. There was another parking lot Pioneer Square Public parking off of James. A closer examination of their pricing, it might have been a cheaper option if you stay less than 4 hours.
We did not have a problem but it is not a good look for Seattle. My Midwest guest was shocked it was being tolerated...
Nope , I went there Feb 2021, and it was closed
As others have indicated, the information is conveyed in a way to make it fun and interesting rather than just a dry recitation of facts. It makes it easier to remember the key points and adds a feeling of what life was like back in early Seattle, both physically and politically. I found the tour very informative and enjoyable.
Yes. They even go to a place about mid-tour where you can sit for a few minutes while the guide explains more Seattle history.
There are handrails on all areas with stairs. The tour is about 40 mins of walking through tunnels and up and down 4-6 flights of about 10 stairs each.
Yes, but it's called the 'Underworld Tour'.
Well not even a mention a week ago.
Park in a parking garage, there's a garage near this place and you can walk to the entrance
There maybe a 10 degree difference. We went when it was rainy and cool outside. We were in shorts and t-shirts and faired just fine. We went about five days ago
It said it was 75 minutes. But it was actually less than an hour. So I'm guessing it depends on your tour guide and maybe the group you are with.
$22 for adult, $20 senior, $10 youth. They take cash or card. You can also prepurchase online
No but they have translated tours printed out
I have recently had multiple surgeries on my feet and have been in walker condition. I could have gone but you would need to be careful and slow. The ground is treacherously uneven. Stepping over multiple elevated walkways and going up and down stairs is also required. Someone who could help you with your walker has to accompany you. Lastly some of the stairs may require scooting up on your bottom.
It was interesting. I suggest the daytime tour. The adult tour at night was ok, but mostly just corny puns. It was cool to see the original streets of Seattle though. All in all, not a bad place.
there is parking for pay. there is no parking specifically for Doc's
There is a will call/ticket purchase/info desk right near the front entrance @ 614 1st Ave.
Not any place nearby. Park motor home at RV camp and take a taxi to Seattle
There were kids around 8-10 in our group. Shouldn't be an issue with parental supervision.
Yes. You can check how many tickets are left when ordering online.
There is not a place to store your luggage.
We took a group tour for $20pp. I don't know the price for a private tour.
You have to take tour but it is reasonable
No, stairs and some tight spaces. There was a gentleman using hiking/walking poles during the tour and he managed with help.
Yes, but if you to arrive on a weekend you should show up early as the lines for walk-ins can get long. I went last Saturday around 4pm and there was a ~30min wait for non-will call
should be open. check Google to be sure tho
No its UNDERGROUND so weather is not a factor
Only if you have a backpack. The neighborhood is fine its just a confined space and lots of steps.
Wonderful tour enhanced by Janelle who did a superb job, funny and informative K
I'd say no, we were in and out several buildings and up and down many stairs.
No unfortunately. The tour requires you to go up and down stairs to get to the underground and while underground to go over rough and uneven ground.
I brought the ticket online as there was a groupon deal, make sure you give enough time after the purchase as it takes almost a day to reflect in their database. Then you need to book a slot with them either in person or via phone, as they claim that if the purchase is made online, they have very limited slots.
Whew, thats a tough one. I would call them for that. The schedule calendar online wont let you schedule if they are closed
