I’m personally not a big beach fan but my family is. As far as beaches go this is one of the best. Not too crowded, easy paths over the dunes, and a lot of heads to rinse sand off. It’s also nice that, if you are so inclined and have a vehicle that can handle such a thing, you can drive your car right on to the beach.

I loved this beach. The morning sunrise is so beautiful and quiet. Any people I did run into were very friendly. If you like to hunt shells, there is about a million of them!!

Dunes are beautiful. Family environment great to bring dogs on leash. Handicap parking. If you have Handicap placard you do not have to pay to drive on the beach

Great place to drive onto beach if you have a Nassau county resident with you & 4x4 or AWD vehicle. Regardless, parking lot near beach is great as are the bathrooms & foot showers to knock off sand after your outing. Parking lot is short distance from beach.

Don’t try it anytime soon, we drove 4 hours after speaking to someone from the county about beach camping .. they told us absolutely as long as no open fires after sunset (October 24,2020) We packed, prepared and drove up there, and they wouldn’t even let us on the beach because of “Covid”. Now, the morning after, we come back to peters point after the attendant told us it would be open at 6 am to park and enjoy the beach.. here it is 6:19 am and there’s no attendant in sight.
Yes, there are signs that say to keep them on leashes at all times.
No my family and I just tried and was we could not camp due to the hoa
There's Peters Point Beach and other small access parking up and down the road. You can also drive on the beach with 4 wheel drive and a small permit fee if you don't live on Amelia Island residents free
Ft. Clinch state park
Dont think you need a pass to go to beach unless you want to drive on beach...
I think you can do it at Peter's point still, but not 100% sure. You use to be able to.
No Reservations needed
Yes you should be able to find a spot there is rvs that are there all day every day as long as you leave by 9pm i believe. They leave and come back every day
yes 4x4 only and you don't need a permit
I didn't see anyone camping... I also didn't know that it was allowed there.
Nope
I'm not sure. A mile or so. Maybe more
Walmart parking lot
Yes you can still camp out on the beach
A brand new rule came out. Their's no longer fire pits or tents allowed their.
They do have a large parking lot at Peter's Point. Also at Hugenot Park I believe they have RV parking.
Go to the below website https://www.nassaucountyfl.com/752/Beach-Permit
Some local restaurants deliver to the beach and Domino's of course!
I'm not sure, but you can at Fort clinch .
You Need the five dollar pass unless you are a county resident.they are available at the site and at a convenient mart just down the road, add well as other pieces.there's a list on line of places to get one
There is a parking lot and showers you can use.

i think you can't be parked there..they don't really close the beach..you can call 904-277-7342
No. Ft. Clinch has campsites. This has bathrooms, picnic tables and a parking lot.
There's a small gas station near the Surf restaurant that sells them cash only 3331 S Fletcher Ave, Fernandina Beach,
I've seen campers parked in the parking lot over night. The cops down there are laid back for the most part. I've never been hassled by them and I've slept in my car when I've gotten there really early. The worst that will happen is they'll ask you to move but it they do, I'm sure they'll also tell you where you can park. I don't think they'll even bother with you though.
Camping on the Beach: Camping is allowed on beaches within the unincorporated areas of Nassau CountyA permit is NOT required to camp on the beachVehicles are not allowed to remain in County-owned Beach Front Parks between 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.Vehicles may be parked directly on the beach in designated beach driving areas (NOTE: out of County tags must purchase a beach driving permit.)No vehicles or horses are allowed on the dunes or within designated swimming areasVehicular speed must not exceed 10mph and must not be operated in a reckless mannerDogs must be under leash at all times
It's great for wading and swimming as long as you are aware of the undertow conditions.
You need a permit if you are not a country resident. You get it at the tax office. It is $5.
Yes it is...I see them there all the time....
Not far..maybe 50 yards? There is a walkway with rails on both sides. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle you can drive on the beach.
Always have a leash. Keeping your dog & your family safe from other animals should be your priority. Go down to American beach it's less crowded. If you're the only one there you have more leeway. Then if someone else comes you have tje leash to put on your dog.
