Don’t try it anytime soon, we drove 4 hours after speaking to someone from the county about beach camping .. they told us absolutely as long as no open fires after sunset (October 24,2020) We packed, prepared and drove up there, and they wouldn’t even let us on the beach because of “Covid”. Now, the morning after, we come back to peters point after the attendant told us it would be open at 6 am to park and enjoy the beach.. here it is 6:19 am and there’s no attendant in sight.
I think so

This place is a hidden gem !!! Very nice beach not crowded or overly busy.
Yes you can, but do to covid right now NO. I'm speaking from experience. The first time I did it I paid $5.00 for a permit from the ole flash food (Harris Teeter now). I went recently, and the city has opened up the beach for driving, but not camping as of yet. (Free & only to FL residents, and military right now)
Yes. Pay a small fee. Its fantastic
