This is a really nice beach to go to, it's very laid back. It wasn't over crowded, the ppl are usually nice. I enjoy bringing my kids here or hanging out with friends.

Breathtaking public park by the beach. Great place for families, and pets. Playground, skate park, Salt Life Restaurant on site, and local restaurants, hotels and inns within walking distance. Camping at local Ft Clinch State Park available.

Ya'll don't need a review. Who doesn't love the beach? Always fun and beautiful. Kinda sandy so be aware of that when tracking it into your vehicle. π But really, it's awesome. The beach, beautiful boardwalk, park for the kids, outdoor showers to get all (or some) of that sand off, and public restrooms.

Yes..but watch for the lifeguard flags...sometimes dangerous riptides.
Amelia Island Beach ordinances does allow dogs on Main Beach Park, but must be on leash at all times.
Yes sir, just bear in mind some people abuse that privilege by staying beyond the allowable 24 hour period. If you have dogs- please ! Always have them on a leash and don't let them wander through our dunes which is a sanctuary for wildlife and illegal such as our leash law is. Thank you and I welcome you to Amelia Island-( Fernandina Beach is the north end ).
No, there are not any rocks but this beach has tons of shark teeth.
Yes, unless there is a red flag warning, then no.
I've not heard about it either. Let us know if you find itπ
For rental and general information on any of the City of Fernandina Beach parks, please call the Atlantic Recreation Center at 904-310-3350. I'd call to be on the safe side.
There's a road that runs parallel but you can't see the beach from it.
Tents are allowed but nothing can stay overnight because its turtle season
At the main beach there are lots of parking as well as a play area and nextdoor is a putt-putt
No grills right there but for clinch state park is right next to it which has beach access and plenty of grills
