I've seen campers parked in the parking lot over night. The cops down there are laid back for the most part. I've never been hassled by them and I've slept in my car when I've gotten there really early. The worst that will happen is they'll ask you to move but it they do, I'm sure they'll also tell you where you can park. I don't think they'll even bother with you though.
You can stay in the parking lot 24 hours at a time. There is trailer parking for a horse trailer in the lot not on the beach. You can camp On the beach but not in the parking lot. If your gonna drive on the beach and your not frim nassau county you can gwt a beach driving permit at any local stores.
I think you can call the park and see
No parking in that lot from 8 PM to 6 AM.
Yes
I think they can in the parking lot for 24 hrs. Not on the beach and don't think you need a beach permit for horses
I don't think so. You would need to call park and recreation

It appears that a permit is required to park on the beach. How does one go about getting one?
