Really Nice staff ๐ my cats are doing great
Lisa OK
I have 6 animals. Only 1 of those is mine the rest are strays that came to me and I took in. Now they charge an office visit for animals over age 7. Their reason makes no since. They took my animals back two by two and was only back not even 5 minutes. I paid about $225 just for the visits. I think it's wrong that they now charge these fees. That money should have gone towards meds(2 are heart worm positive), flea meds, food. I understand why all rescues and shelters are full. People can't afford care anymore. Like others I can no longer rescue or take animals in anymore. This is no low cost clinic anymore. Sad

Favorite and most caring vet in all of Charlotte. You canโt beat the service to your animals OR the prices!!! Have been coming here for 10 years and wonโt ever stop.

Friendly and professional

You can send an email as well. They get back to you pretty quickly. Very nice!!!!!!!!!!
Stand for Animals is great and they are affordable. Give them a call.
Yes they do. The cost is $5. They'll take good care of your pupper.
I am not real sure. But Long Animal Vet on South Blvd may. They are a regular vet but are open 24 hours. You could call and ask them.
Unfortunately they do not. But they do offer sliding scale for low income families with pets. Here's the link. Hope this helps! https://standforanimals.org/resources/financial-assistance/
Hi Jae. Please give us a call at 704-970-2711. As I'm sure the doctor you saw informed you, if left untreated pyometra can be deadly. Please call so we can see how we can assist you.
Hi Roberta. I believe we helped you this morning - but as the others said, we can absolutely add an e-collar (in fact, we recommend it to make sure that there is no post-op licking!).
Yes and I don't know price but if you email them they will answer you
They have a puppy package that includes spay/neuter. They are very reasonable price and staff is great
The prices are solidary, the consultation is around $35. But they do not treat emergencies or serious injuries.
I would call and ask them.
It's best to contact them through the website. There is a Q&A and e-addresses to email. They get back to you within 24 hours.
Yes, they can give you a print out of all your pet records and email it.
Try stand for animals
Do you mean "do they do the grooming?" Or do you mean shots and evaluation before going to a groomers?
I don't know. I recommend calling them to find out.
They have an email, but since they stay so busy the best way is just to call back or stay on hold until they have a chance to help you.
I am no vet but it is not uncommon. Our 6 mo old puppy did last night too as he recently changed food brands. It could be a food allergy or they ate something they shouldn't have.
No. They don't do rabbits. But fullwood on 51 in Matthews does.
Like $ 17.00 dollars. But you have to make the appointment online.
You Can't
Stand for animals is a fantastic place to take your pet! We've been taking our GSD (German Shepherd) there for two years! He's been going there since he was a pup! ๐ They have specials going on but your best bet is to go there and check them out because of how busy they get it may be a day before they get back with you. This is a wonderful place, with a very experienced staff. They are very friendly and care deeply for your pet! You can send email works 7/24 and they respond few hours later
By appointment only.
I'm sure if it is an emergency they would take a walk in but they are so busy, you need an appointment. They are worth the wait though because they are a really great facility.
Male cat neutering is usually $40. The June special is $30, plus the cost of any extra services, if needed. Cats will also need to stay overnight. Please check the website for complete pricing info.
Low cost, yes but not free
Hey Brenda. Give us a call today at 704-970-2711. If you reach our voicemail we promise to call you back. We need to learn more about the community cat to see how we can best help.
Hi Sybil. We have not yet announced our spay neuter specials for March and will do so in the middle of February. The regular cost of a dog neuter is $75. We recommend that you sign up for our email list because our subscribers are the first to know about spay neuter specials. you can sign up for that list here - https://standforanimals.org/contact-us/newsletter/
Hi Charles. You can try to either coax them into a garage or put something out that they can take shelter in. Put out food and make a winter cat shelter. Here are some great instructions - https://alleycatadvocates.org/communitycat-care-center/creating-winter-shelters/ If you don't have hay you can use a towel!
They run different specials every month. They do recommended leaving cats overnight there. I would recommend calling the number and asking them your questions about the special for cats. They are always very nice and eager to help.
Sounds like he definitely needs to see a doc. He could have some infection. I would call them Monday and ask ic they can see him snd ask about the cost.
You can call and leave a message for the CLT location or shoot them an email and state that you're interested in speaking about a specific situation or complaint. Email is usually faster
They take walk ins. If you get there around 7 or 7:15 I'm sure someone can help you.
Between 12 and 20 each, depending. You also have to pay a fee for the needle but its like 5 dollars. Its really nothing.
I did bring him lump was fine. Other issues was prescribed medication dog got sick and was then referred to another clinic I was emailing my questions and concerns as i was told to and getting responses back then was told they could no longer help me with my dog. Very uncaring left me with a sick dog. They knew my financial situation and that i could not afford to go elsewhere but they did nit care. People beware!
You would have to call and discuss that with someone. But try contacting a regular vet that accepts care credit.
When my animals were neutered there no blood work was done. Only blood work done was testing for heartworms. This was done at a different visit.
Yes the advice above is correct. Sometimes they offer discount specials. So call them and check them out!
Yes absolutely. They won't deny care bc he's not neutered. They will probably suggest getting him neutered eventually, but won't deny him care.
I believe its per kitten, and they might have a special for multiples, but not 2. I took my friends kittens in for her and it was 2 full price packages.
Technically 8 weeks and more than 2 pounds. But in my opinion, it's best to wait til 16 weeks.
They are my only vet; I think they do great job, and charge minimum fees. They're there for the sake of cats & dogs, not for making money.
There may be a glitch in their website; I would assume it's the higher price. You can also call and ask when they're open or shoot them an email.
The prices can also vary on when you need the service. For example, if you need a vaccine during a spay neuter procedure it's less expensive because we are already working with your pet and he/she is sedated making it easy to get the vaccine. If you need the vaccine for a technician or office visit appointment (nonsurgical) it's a little more expensive because it requires more time and staff to safely provide the vaccine. I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
You can do both. Have taken my furbabies here for years. Best maintenance vet ever! Staff is great and the prices are very reasonable.
They say on their website they don't accept walk ins anymore. You're better off making the appointment online and they'll get back to you within 24 hours. They are only open until about 3 daily.
It depends. Call them or check the website for specials.
Agreed with Destiny. I also trim my cats nails frequently and have dedicated spots for them to flex their nails (a cardboard box and a small cat jungle gym with twine on it). Declawing only creates more problems with joint and foot issues down the road.
The cleaning itself is 150. They do require pre-op blood work before they'll put your pet under anaesthesia. Recent spays/neuters will have had this bloodwork completed; all other pets will need to have this done for their safety and the cost is 25. The bloodwork checks for any elevated levels or abnormalities in the bloodstream that could cause potential harm during surgery and anaesthesia.
Yes. And it won't be much.
It depends what all you want done. They have individual pricing (12-15 dollars depending on which shot) or they have packages for kittens that include all shots, deworming, and spay/neuter for 110. Their prices are by far the cheapest you'll find. I highly recommend them!
They cannot answer the phone during hours when they are doing surgery. There are simply hundreds of animals going through per day. I'm sure all of this was explained when you dropped your animal off as they are very thorough. I think the pickup time is 3:30 or so. Also, if there were complications they would've contacted you themselves.
Make an appt online. They are always very busy and might not be able to see you.
They have monthly specials for spay/neuter. Also, they have what they call a kitten package, which has the price of the spay/neuter bundled along with first shots.
