We went on the boat tour 1st, and then went and had lunch at the dining hall food was delicious and very fulfilling.. Waitress was very knowledgeable and accommodating.. We will definitely be returning to try something new on the menu. This was a great experience for the both of us.

Stayed at the lodge and really enjoyed our stay. No television and it's like stepping into the past. It was built in the thirties.

Amazing!!!

This was a wonderful and informative boat ride. So much to see and take in. Very unique and interesting place. A definite Go See if you are in this area! Several manatees

No RV Sites and no camping at this particular park.
yes. there are covered pavilions and grills outside of the swimming area.
i was told you cant kayak in the park but there are places around that offers tours (so ive heard)
You can float down the river in s tube, I and a few friends have all the way down. It took a few hours. Also you cannot do so inside the state park, we dropped our tubes in on the other side of the bridge and had our ride pick us up from the gulf. Lol and also for your information, you will be on the food chain, there are large lizards, and there are sharks, just so you know. I suggest taking a canoe or kayak first to check things out.
Yes you can buy a yearly pass.
yes. there is a 6 mile trail, all shaded, with a nice boardwalk. there are other trails too.
Very little. But you won't even be able to tell.
Nope! You have parking nearby so you can leave stuff in your car before you head to the water
They are there year round, but may be easier to see during the cold months.
It's surprising how good the restaurant is! The hotel is perfect! And there is an old time soda shop to get ice cream from!!
yes. near swimming area
Yes, dogs are allowed on leash around the park and on trails. However, dogs are not allowed inside the fenced-in swimming area.
Yes...but it's cold. Great place to beat the summer heat and if you get lucky you might be swimming with manatees. Diving area and small beach. Boat rides down the river but check for availability before you go..only running 1 or 2 right now.
Parking area is large enough to day park but best call to make reservations.
No you can't https://www.thewakullanews.com/content/fishing-wakulla-springs-sort
Lower bridge off of hwy 61
Usually it's sunset
It depends! You'd have to ask the ranger but ive seen small boats there before :)
Carrie Brown they do stay in the water I have seen them before
You will have to contact the park. I didn't see any information on volunteering. Maybe some info on the website.
$8 for adult, $5 for child. About 45 mins. Well worth it, so much to see and the guides are very knowledgeable.
The state park with the beach and lodge does not have kayak rentals, but many businesses on the river do with varying prices. I rented a kayak for a day last weekend for $30, for example
If you have a food stamp card, admission is half price
No. Not since 2015 I think. After lake Jackson's sink hole filtered in. Cant see the 125ft underground spring. Amazing place though!!!! Had a great time Jump off the high dive!!!
I dont think so
From the Florida State Park's Website: Domestic pets are permitted in designated day-use areas at ALL Florida State Parks. They must be kept on a handheld leash that is six feet or shorter and be well-behaved at all times. Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets and properly dispose of their droppings. Pets are not permitted on beaches or playgrounds, or in bathing areas, cabins, park buildings or concession facilities. Service animals are welcome in all areas of Florida State Parks.
$8-9 per adult
$6 per car (and if you eat there at the restaurant, they will take the $6 off your bill).
The water comes out of the Wakulla spring at 69 degrees year round. I guess you need to find out what temps your amoebas needs!
Yes they have
I was there last week and they had reservations sheets on two of The Pavilions. Not sure where to sign up though.
Bike weekend is April 6, so Wakulla Springs should be open tomorrow. It maye say that it's closed right now because they close at sundown, and they will reopen in the morning
Some parts yes others no on leash
Yes. Cute gifts there. And some books!
Yes there are definitely gators. There are not in swim area. However you can take an amazing guided boat tour thru the spectacular natural habitat to numerous exciting animals. We saw Manatees when we went Highly recommend a visit to the State park!! A stay at the lodge and the delicious food at the restaurant rounded out a perfect trip!
No camping, Overnight accommodations at The Wakulla Springs Lodge only.

No. There is no overnight except for the Lodge. You have to stay outside the park.
Lodge is beautiful. The rooms are antique looking in a way and very pretty! Food there is delicious too! Love the large fireplace in the lobby. 😀
Yes, they run in the rain.
