Over an hour wait to get a simple flu vaccine. I had appointment at 8:30 that I had to schedule a week in advance because they were out of stock of the flu vaccine. It seemed like I had to wait along with all the other vaccinations. There was no priority for just the flu vaccine. Very large crowd in waiting room almost like DMV. Plan for a long wait (unferstaffed)and bring your MASK.

Just a heads up. If you are going for your food service card,it's located on the left side of the larger building and there is a queue. Someone will come out and check you in. Good luck with your test \,,/

I went for help with out of state immunization records and they didn’t attempt to help me at all. All just sitting on their phones, chatting as if I bugged them when I walked up. Thanks for nothing and a waste of a drive down town in these gas prices.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Yes they do H.I.V. test last time I went there they had a sign
Need to get my grandson s shot record to b able to put him in school

Birth Certificates cost $33 for the first copy, and $20 for each additional copy.
Yes, take any of them from anywhere. They are all the same. Watch the SNHD you tube modules and really let it sink in. It's pretty common sense. That being said, I think my first try gave me more technical questions. Second try, all questions were so basic. Know temperature danger zones know sanitizing buckets, know hand washing minimum times, know pest control basics, how to not let pests in. Know dish washing temps. Know no household products used for pests. Know dirty hands are leading cause of food borne illness. WATCH THE MODULES... Like a sitcom (they are kinda comical) Dont touch ready to eat food, bandaid and glove if cut hands, only a ring on you hand allowed. Person in charge at all time of operation. Ice is a food. Toothpaste is not.. All attempts give you new questions. Dont change your answers. Rule of thumb Store cold food 41° or lower Hold hot food 135° Danger zone is where bacteria grow and multiply. Know food hazards

as the in-store recruiter this was actually part of my job. it's not very complicated anymore used to be a pain, so watch the movie online, take the test online, make sure and print out any completion of Test movie payment that you need to take with you to the health district pick a number wait to be called get your picture taken graphic card and leave it's pretty simple just takes time out of our day that's about it. and my job is I don't even have to carry one number not required to by state law but we're still forced to buy the company I work for that's pretty rude so it's extra money I have to send out that I don't have to pay for it because I don't need it but they're making me do it anyway pretty rude oh well have a good time
Go to Facebook and join the " WE GOT YOUR BACK ".. help group. Tell them Rocky sent you.
The Janssen vaccine (formerly known as Johnson & Johnson) is currently available in Las Vegas at various locations, which will vary from week to week based on supply received. We always say that the best vaccine for you is the vaccine that is offered at the time of your appointment. But if you want the Janssen vaccine specifically and are seeking a convenient location to receive it, we recommend contacting pharmacies near you (such as Walgreens, Smith's, Vons, Albertsons, Walmart and Sam's Club) to see if they are administering the Janssen vaccine.
At this time, we are requiring appointments for regular vaccinations. Please call 702-759-0850. Non-COVID vaccinations are being administered at our East Las Vegas Public Health Center and our Mesquite Public Health Center only.
I need covid19 CPR test, where I can find a place in Vegas?

Obtaining a new Food Handler Safety Training Card or renewing the card DOES require an appointment, which can be made online at www.snhd.info/food-handler. Replacing a lost card DOES NOT require an appointment.
Thank you for asking. That is not a service offered by the Health District.

Booster doses of the Moderna vaccine are not yet available. Although an FDA panel voted to approve the booster on October 14, it still needs to be approved by FDA leadership as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before it is allowed to be given. It will likely take at least another week before then. When we are able to provide Moderna boosters, we will announce it on our COVID-19 website and on social media.
If you're asking about the renewal of a Food Handler Safety Training Card, that fee is $20, and you must past the renewal test. More information is available on our website at www.snhd.info/food-handler.

Please find more information at https://covid.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/vaccine/about-booster-doses/

The Pfizer vaccine is now approved and available for ages 12 and older. The second dose has to be received between 3 and 6 weeks after the first. If she received it today, her second dose would be needed while she is away. If she will be in a static location for at least three weeks while out of town, it might be a better idea to have her get both shots there rather than one here and one elsewhere.
Please reach out to our immunization clinic at 702-759-0850, option 6. You can also go to WebIZ to obtain an immunization record as long as you got your vaccine here in Nevada.

Hand Foot and Mouth disease is a very common illness among young children and symptoms include mild fever, sore throat, skin rash, and a poor appetite. If you have any questions about your child, you should follow up with your health care provider. It is a common viral infection but most times it is not serous. It usually goes away without medical treatment in a week to 10 days. If the illness does not go away or the person develops more serious symptoms like headache, stiff neck or the fever does not go away they should seek medical care. Here is a link to our website: http://www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/Health-Topics/hand-foot-mouth-disease/ and to the CDC's too: The CDC also has information here: https://www.cdc.gov/hand-foot-mouth/

I hope you've already consulted an doctor at any facility.you have definitely been bitten by something highly toxic or you're allergic to it.In the future barring an emergency Call the appt desk to schedule an appt. Keep your leg & foot elevated with cool packs for comfort. DO NOT apply heat it may feel better but isn't. Any fluid beneath the skin will heat and swell as in cooking the vapors escape, but the mist from the body is confined. Be mindful of acute changes in color ,texture, pain. Severe nausea with /without vomiting could indicate your body isn't expelling the toxin
