Hand Foot and Mouth disease is a very common illness among young children and symptoms include mild fever, sore throat, skin rash, and a poor appetite. If you have any questions about your child, you should follow up with your health care provider. It is a common viral infection but most times it is not serous. It usually goes away without medical treatment in a week to 10 days. If the illness does not go away or the person develops more serious symptoms like headache, stiff neck or the fever does not go away they should seek medical care.
