Keep your leg & foot elevated with cool packs for comfort. DO NOT apply heat it may feel better but isn't. Any fluid beneath the skin will heat and swell as in cooking the vapors escape, but the mist from the body is confined. Be mindful of acute changes in color ,texture,pain. Severe nausea with /without vomiting could indicate your body isn't expelling the toxin
