Very disappointed on my son's visit on 08/25/2022. My son had to be taken in to UMC with grandma because as a medical assistant myself I could not leave work so I asked my mother to take him in. My mother and son came into the facility around 12pm and waited for about 6 hours to be pulled into the back to be seen by a physician. During the check in process and waiting period I was told the front staff was being rude when my mother tried to check in. As she was waiting she stated to me that one of the front girls where "staring" at her to get my mom's attention instead of calling her by name, or my son's name as he was the patient and stated to my mother with an attitude that she didn't know their name. Staring at a patient, one, to gain there attention is very unprofessional and with the rudeness that was present upon first entering the facility. Then when being pulled back my mother had another encounter with a medical assistant named Dolores. I understand HIPAA and everything and when my mother said that we might have to call me to obtain consent verbally Dolores gave attitude to her about calling me for consent because she had to call my work office. My mother being how she is stated "If you don't like your job then why are you here?" with that being said the medical assistant changed her tune before calling me for consent which I gave over the phone. The physician that my son saw with my mother was very nice as per my mother stated and she really liked her, Dr. Dilauro is her name. So at least there was some good experience here and I thank Dr. Dilauro for treating my son.

Not a great experience. Women at the front desk (tonosha) was not kind or friendly at all. When you are going to urgent care it’s never for a good reason and that woman is not a people person and shouldn’t work in customer service. I brought my 6 month old in because he was sick and had to wait an hour to wait almost an hour to see the doctor and my baby was crying the whole time. The nurse and doctor were very kind and helpful but the wait time and woman working up front really caused this to be a negative experience.
