I have a 15 year old and about to turn 16 in a week can she get the vaccine now? She is going out of town for summer for 2 moths on June the 1st

The Pfizer vaccine is now approved and available for ages 12 and older. The second dose has to be received between 3 and 6 weeks after the first. If she received it today, her second dose would be needed while she is away. If she will be in a static location for at least three weeks while out of town, it might be a better idea to have her get both shots there rather than one here and one elsewhere.

I would call first to find out but it would be pointless to get the first dose since she would have to go back in 3 weeks for the second and she won't even be in town unless she can do it in another state
