Excellent location!! Within walking distance of lots of great restaurants and amazing shopping!! Surrounded by beautiful scenery too. The rooms were gorgeous!! The staff was friendly and very accommodating!! The complimentary breakfast and evening wine reception was great!! The hotel grounds had several courtyards and the hotel was very historic in nature!! Amazing stay!! I would highly recommend!!!

We stayed at the Meeting Street Inn, located in the French Quarter, for 2 nights in early July. This beautifully maintained historic building is within easy walking distance of many of Charleston's sites and restaurants. Despite the city bustle around the inn and the variety of other visitors also staying (a combination of groups, couples, families, and single guests), we found the atmosphere consistently quiet and private. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We were pleased with the quality of the linens and the aromatic soaps provided, though the bathroom was in need of updating overall to bring it up to the same level as our room and the rest of the inn. The shared ground-level patio and wading pool area was well-shaded and felt like a little oasis. The staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs and inquiries.

Absolutely one of the best places my sister in law and I stayed on vacation. Love Charleston and this is perfect. No kids close to Market and shopping and dining. Wonderful quiet room with balcony. Staff was amazing. Will stay there again

The Meeting Street Inn is a small, comfortable hotel in the heart of the Market area. It's situated in an 18th century building with appropriate colonial furniture. Our bed was canopied and the colonial chairs comfortable. We had our own balcony. The bathroom was traditional and a reasonable size. The shower was a stepin tub that worked well. As you can see from the photos, this is a classical Charleston style building. When you stay here you feel as if you're in Charleston. You're also able to walk to and from dozens of wonderful restaurants. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and competent.

It's about 2 blocks from the hotel. Go to the hotel drop your luggage and they'll follow you to the parking lot and drive you back to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay there very much and it was centrally located. The bkfst is great and the happy hour is fabulous.
Theres nothing really for kids there, but it isn't some posh hotel that kids would be out of place.
He was there a couple of weeks ago.
Parking is a block down on hassell St but we have valet and shuttle if need be
3:00pm but they may be able to get you in a little earlier, or they can hold your luggage while you take in the town. 5:00 is wine and cheese in the lobby. You can call the morning before you arrive and ask for a room with a better view.
No. It's two blocks up and like $15/day.
At least 50 They seem to be very busy and have a nice breakfast each morning
There's a parking lot a few blocks away. The hotel staff will direct you.
