Wonderful employees helped me find what I needed almost immediately and they have a great selection of parts and everything else you could need I would come here every other day if it wasn't so far 😅

With most of the deals being online and you having to wait, this place is very convenient for your tech needs . They have a variety of electronics and tech to choose from.

It’s MicroCenter. What else needs to be said about this incredible and amazing store?

Seem to end up here every month but always find what I'm looking for or atleast someone that can help point me in the right direction.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I know. I don't want to spend a hour in traffic each way just to find out they're OOS. Won't give you the in store pickup option.
i
At the time of writing this, they have 19 in stock at the Dallas location, but quantities are changing all the time. Best to just go and browse in person: https://www.microcenter.com/product/333386/dell-90w-ac-adapter-for-laptop
Yes its called Microsoft Office Home & Student 2016. Its $150, but you should really do the subscription you get the newest office always and you get a lot more for your money.
There is a place in Irving south on 183 and MacArthur that repairs all sorts of TVs. They also have rebuilt TVs for cheap. Was able to keep the 58 inch DLP tv I got for free running for three years with parts cheap.
Not sure about that..you can probably call them to see tho.
Good morning Janice, if your physical phone does not support 4G and later there wont be much that can be done to add life into the device and keep it to make calls. In short, you will need to replace this phone and switch to a newer model. If you are unsure you can have someone look at the phone and can tell you specifics. Anything below iPhone 5 will need to be replaced or andriod phone made before 2011.
Just don't get impatient and get one from the scalpers on ebay and the advice from these guys will help you out
Not sure. But even if there is it will move fast.
Yes
Microcenter will update the bios for you at the store for your type of situation.
not sure how old this question is but I'll answer in case someone else has the same question. You can ask the sales people there but sometimes it's best to figure it out what you want first. If you rely on a sales person, you may not get what you want. I built a few gaming computers. First, figure out what your budge is. Second, what type of games you want to play and their requirements (ie computer cpu, etc). Third, are you going to do youtube live stream, video editing, etc. The cpu you use depends on what you are able to do with your computer. CPU is the most important part. Forth, once you know what cpu you want, then the other parts are easier to come by. CPU recommendations. Ryzen 5 or i5 cheapest idea for games. Ryzen 7 or i7 is better and can OC. (you can OC some 5s, but I think 7 is better). Ryzen 9 or i9 is for those who are heavy, high FPS gamers, video editing, and whatever else you need your pc to do.
For something like that, it would be best to make a trip and speak to their hiring manager.
Can you be more specific with your question?
I bought a drone a lil while ago for only like $45
You should look at their website. That’s a very specific question that can easily change based on stock, seasons and new releases.
You can call them via their public telephone number and ask for the tech department. You can also walk in to the store and speak with the tech representatives at the repair front desk. They also have a special program where you can put a message into a bottle and drift it into the westerly currents of the south Atlantic ocean where the bottle will then flow to the western coast of the US where they have several representatives who actively fish the messages in bottles out of the south pacific where those trade currents carry most items. Just be sure to include your beeper number and email in the message along with your question and they will get back to you asap.
Go to microcenter.com their website go to the search bar at the top and say a graphics cards also you can go to products and look under PC parts you see parts they have You can reserve them
How to show you're computer illiterate in 1 post. Batteries are often model specific. If you really need a PC that urgently, you can take the battery out and use the wall adapter. It's basically a desktop at that point but it should function. You can check the serial number on the back and put it into your favorite retail site to check if they carry the battery. Some are quick swaps and others have to be disassembled to replace it. Depends on your HP model. Batteries plus used to have a lot in stock, but it's been years since I've checked. Also if someone says you need to replace your laptop for a battery, you absolutely do not have to. Good luck out there.
Now,
Not just some batteries. They also serve them.
Yes
You need to explain spam in details. But generally if it's an application for a phone or Google or Outlook, then there are settings or preferences that need to be changed. Google the app's help file. A business, contract your IT support team, and if it is through your ISP. You will need to contact support.
Seem like they should carry it. Order online.
The sign was still up this week when I went, so I assume so.
It is best to write down seldom used passwords.
As long as you have a receipt
I don't know if Microcenter would do that for you, but if it is possible... They would have all of the parts you would need to do that.
They don't have a phone number, you have to do everything online or in person.
I found it no problem
Try calling them
There are two times that I try to buy a graphics card and after being trained for an hour the manager told me that only valid texas ID. Why discrimination
Checking the web site for availability and inventory would be your best option
Your best option is to check. Inventory like that flies off the shelves in a hurry
You get there in the morning and if you are in time to get a GPU, they give you a voucher before you get inside.
Go with the flow...
They do have a fully capable computer building department that does great work.
I don't know that they actually offer install services. I suggest calling or checking with them online. Good luck!
Depending on budget, you can use a Ryzen 5 2600x or 3600x.
they will charge you as if it is a new build. I built my own computer but had issues with it, so they fixed it. They charged me as if it was a new build because they had to replace the dead mobo. I didn't mind because I don't have the equipment to test parts. Basically, they can do it, but call to make sure. I have dealt with them for many years. Bought three computers worth of parts through the years and they helped me where I had issues with the build. I'm about to go back again soon and build me another computer.
I just double check their hours. They closed temporarily for deep cleaning so I think they will open again in couple of day
Yes you can.
Yes
Crash hd can't be repair most time . i will sudgest remplace but have transfer all you data from the old to the new hd From experience . .
They have a website you can check
It doesn't seem that they do. It looks like they allow "consumers in Texas may drop off and recycle PowerSpec® and WinBook® computer equipment free of charge." That is for both the Dallas and Houston locations. But it doesn't say they buy electronics. Arguably, its doesnt say they dont either. I'd use Letgo or Facebook.
They have hard drives for any computer
Just go and they'll give you a qr code to sign in online and keep it with you. So next time you go you can sign in at home to have a head start.
After 2015, no
An upgrade can take place on your existing device, though Microsoft recom-mends using Windows 10 on a new PC to take advantage of the latest features and security. Windows 10 Pro costs about $199, though on Amazon you can buy it for $185. and download it from there.
You can get the Bios updates from the board manufacturer or system manufacturer. There website will have info on how to apply it.
If you left an email address that helps. But just call, maybe they can find it under a name or phone number...
You won't find a better selection than at MicroCenter. Excellent prices also

best priced laptops are the refurbished ones. My son bought a refurbished laptop at half the cost and has had no problems with it. They give a warranty for several days so if you get it home and it doesn't work, you can bring it back. In fact, I'm sure that they will let you test it out before you leave.
No, but you can help and parts at the store. Best to get the parts if know what you need.
I have never done it, but yes they do that. Unless it is an in store only promotion.
There is a graduated rate that will depend on the replacement battery if no diagnostic work is required.
It depends of specifications
Call the store, and ask for management. They can give you better details.
Call them, or look it up on their website.
Not sure but you can call them
Agreed. You need to just call micro center.
Just look on their website and it will say ifthere are any in stock or not.
I applied there too I didn't ever do a video interview so I guess they just didn't need me as I work for compact for 3 years but who knows
Like James said, will be cheaper on Amazon than at the store. But if u need it asap, u can pick one up today at the store. They have a lot of Apple accessories at the store.
Lots of computers in all price ranges. They also have refurbished machines often at very good prices. Best bet is to go into the store and talk to the people there. BTW, as long as you don't do gaming you will find a three year old computer or a entry level system should be perfect.
Go to the store walk inside and ask for the manager Colleen is her name
$120 for home, $200 for pro. But thats from Microsoft, you can find cheaper in stores.
Usually they restock on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
There is a place in Irving south on 183 and MacArthur that repairs all sorts of TVs. They also have rebuilt TVs for cheap. Was able to keep the 58 inch DLP tv I got for free running for three years with parts cheap. Also frequently on Facebook market pkace or Craigslist people sell em used all the time.
The website says 11:00 am to 6:00 pm today. This is different than normal business hours, so I'm going to guess it is correct. The stores phone system isn't allowing inbound calls yet. You can try at 10:00 am or 11:00 am. Just received an email from support confirming that the Dallas location is now open.
Even if it was replaced, you might want to look into replace costs. If it is more than the value of your product, not worth it. Just buy a new one. Unless, if you're gonna keep it a bit longer, use it as is.
Around $125 precisely.
I got a DJI Phantom 3 Professional a few years ago. No drone experience at all, and it worked great. You can get a less expensive Phantom 3 Standard if you like, but it is missing some functions for stability (camera down to keep it more still).
These are all under $100: Samsung Level U LG Tone Sony SBH70 Anker SoundBuds
