they will charge you as if it is a new build. I built my own computer but had issues with it, so they fixed it. They charged me as if it was a new build because they had to replace the dead mobo. I didn't mind because I don't have the equipment to test parts. Basically, they can do it, but call to make sure. I have dealt with them for many years. Bought three computers worth of parts through the years and they helped me where I had issues with the build. I'm about to go back again soon and build me another computer.
If your computer is a prebuilt machine you bought from a store (like bestbuy) They will not likely customise it for you
They sell the pieces. But not sure they rebuild it
