Honestly nicest beach on long island. Great for surfing as the waves are decent size from time to time and aren’t too big to where you’ll hurt yourself. I get perfect service here compared to other beaches with little to no service. The waves calm down later in the day for casual swimming. No seaweed, rocks, or shells anywhere here. Also the snack and food bar is super accessible as it’s right next to the beach, for $50 parking, it’s definitely worth it to come here

Thought this beach may have just been hype but was really pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous long stretches of soft white sand that really is one of the cleanest beaches I've been to on the east coast, no shells, seaweed, etc. Gorgeous mansions in the backdrop and amazingly quiet during the week. $50 to park for the day but has restrooms, food, and plenty of space. We went after parking charges ended to catch the sunset.

Beach is lovely, but i question it’s ranking in the top 5 beaches in the country. Sand is clean and lovely pale white, no rocks or seaweed. The beach is well-kept. Parking is one of the few in the Hamptons open to the public, but at an eye-opening whopper of $50 per day.

NO ! The health code regulations forbid it and there are steep fines. The only animals permitted have to be certified service animals. These rules are enforced by the village police department.
The beach itself is free, parking is mentioned above. You can bike, or maybe uber (depending on distance would determine cost benefit analysis)
You could probably park in town, behind the Presbyterian Church 2 South Main and get the free shuttle to the beach. But you would need to get their early.
After 6pm, yes
I know 😢
yes you can. as long as they've spaces available. enjoy!
Yes you can but park your car at the lirr station and take the electric car shuttle....or take uber from the station if you dont see the shuttle. It's a nice and clean beach.
I asked , they told me they do not charge after labor day.
No. You need a permit for parking or a day pass for about $50. Get there early or you may have to wait a while.
No visitor day parking passes for parking are being issued. Best bet is to park in town and Uber to beach. Shuttles have not been running this year.
Yes. I'm from out of state and just paid the $50 parking.
No
No
Yes it is. There's a 50 dollar parking fee
Daily
No need to pay if you are getting dropped off
Actually, it depends. Most of the beaches of Long island are not welcome to BBQ
Yes. It's 50 dollars to park but it's free after 5 pm. You can park there early morning before they collect money.
Correct. Has to be a Southampton Village sticker, I believe, which they sell every May at Cooper's.
It's depends owner wish. Please contact the home owner which is you really interested in
No camping allowed, but you are allowed to sleep on the beach... Just not overnight.
I would not, the TOS police may not allow you to do so unless you have a sticker. I would pay the fee for parking, probably cheaper than a ticket
No fee after 5pm when there is still plenty of sun! Rather costly at $50 any earlier unless you plan to stay most of the day.
You can park at Road D beach, approx 1/2 mile away, for free (same ocean, same sand)
You can ride your bike for free. Or just get dropped off.
Jaws 4 the return of the gray one
You can pay for parking at Cooper's beach even if you're not a resident. It's worth it
can someone please answer this question???? there is a picture of a dog on one of the many pictures of the beach so one should assume that dogs are welcome.
NO FEE FOR US...
Yeah not sure. I think there may be a fee until end of Sept though
No. There's a county park just at the end of dune rd. If you have a pass you can park your camper there.
