My family and I have been vacationing here for the past 20 years. Never had a issue until this year I hear GADNR has taken back over and Georgia is known for their beautiful parks and great hospitality. Evidently the new manager at this park is power struck and doesn’t know that and a lot of the changes that was made we wasn’t aware of there’s no signs anywhere stating the changes that were made. For instance our gator side by side we didn’t know we couldn’t drive it on the park there is a way to talk to anyone with respect she jumped us and told us this was HER park and this thing wasn’t allowed on HER park and the rudeness and profanity was very uncalled for!!!! The assistant manger once we spoke with her she was very professional and understanding she made our stay much better. The state needs to send the manager thru anger management classes she has a huge chip on her shoulder!! Good luck to anyone that goes to George T. Bagby just beware there’s a witch there she doesn’t know how to talk to anyone she’s very rude and hateful!!!

We came to stay at an Airbnb on the water and it didn’t have the best swimming so this park was about 30 minutes away we got to it kind of early but we were the only ones there the entire time it was super nice shallow enough to let the kids go in but deeper towards the end of it yellow boundary. The trees are gorgeous excellent place to take photos with lots of hanging Moss a perfect photo op had a wonderful time little treasure!

This Park was just taken back by GDNR and undergoing major changes. A bit cloudy when I went. But still enjoyed the park. Love the Willow trees and the lake. It’s beautiful. Will circle back on a sunny day.🥾🏊🏽♀️🎣🛶🏃🏾♀️🚴🏾♀️🛥🦌🌞

This is a very quaint place. Very quiet kind of secluded. Not busy during the week. We came just to get away from all the hostel and bustle at home and just relaxed at the lodge. They also have cottages as well.

Yes, they are basic cabins that have their own private dock. They are in high demand and i suggest you make your reservation months in advance.
111.00 ROOMS ARE ALSO 111.OO THOSE CABINS GET BOOKED QUICK
Don't know. Google the name
Yes. It is actually my favorite park in this area. The campsites are very nice.
Yes you get a view , but there are cabins available across from the lake that are nice as well.
No fireworks at the park. Fireworks show is at the Dam Site in Fort Gaines on the fourth at dusk., probably will start app. 9:00 +.
When I was there, my husband and I were 1 of only 3 couples. At the time, it didn't seem like that type of atmosphere. We went in what I imagine was the "off season." If I had to choose I guess I personally would prefer charactures.
We were also told the guest rooms are being torn down and a campground will be made. It really isn't good we go there several times a year. We were told also a few more cabins will be built .
No , just a swinning pool at the lodge along with good hiking and biking trails in the park.
Try Cottonhill Campground in Fort Gaines or go across the river on the Alabama side and try Hardridge Creek Campground.
No, it doesn't.
Inside the lodge there are 60 rooms and suites. There's 52 double rooms, 2 king rooms, 4 king rooms with access for disabled guests, and 2 junior suites ideal for entertaining. All Lodge rooms have WiFi and are a short stroll to the restaurant which is named The Pilothouse Grille. There are 5 cabins each cabin has 2 bedrooms and offer lake-side views, living rooms with cable TV, full kitchens including a microwave, stove, coffee-maker, toaster, refrigerator, cookware, silverware, and dinnerware. Each cabin also provides full beds and bath linens. Cabins do not offer WiFi but the lodge does.
They would love it 😊. I'm about 15 minutes away from there. Fishing, lodge, golf, I haven't seen a restaurant near by. They may need to bring food. But there is a fish market up the road from there. @carmen sturchio
Im not sure. You can contact the office and find out for sure.
Depends on how much you advertise. Your talking remote SW Georgia. Farm country. Not highly populated.
