Nice place to come for some sunset watching. Lots of parking and beach to walk, more private feeling than other areas. Very natural setting also which makes for great dune climbing and pictures!

Muskegon SP Website: "Mini Cabin: Two mini-cabins are located in the Lake Michigan Campground and are available year-round. These mini-cabins can sleep up to 4 people" They also have yurts. Good site to check campgrounds: http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandtrails/Details.aspx?type=SPRK&id=475
Yes, most campers will call them cabins. However, they are rustic. Electric, but no water. Water is available by faucet outside. Outhouse is also on same site. But also near restroom and showers
No, at least not at the Muskegon State Park beach location.
Not really..its pretty tight and heavily wooded..the beach is probably the most open spot.
There is a minimal fee unless you have a "passport" which usually purchased when you renew your plate. Though, a couple weeks back there was no rangers at the gate on a Saturday afternoon.
Straight till end of memorial dr take left and it's on the left
It's in the right location but very little open sky directly north other than the very small beech area.
Yes. You can call to get pavillion for it too. I mean you can always use pavilions but to reserve it for your family only. Lol but hey strangers joining can add some fun. Lol
Yes
It's a Michigan State park which has the same rates of $16 - 27 per night as other Michigan state parks.
Yes. We have many times.

Get two adjacent campsites.
i had service almost the entire time i was in the park area.
I only have knowledge of one of the campground loops and there is handicap entry there. I'm unable to speak to this accomodation outside of the loop I was in. I'm not certain where the pavilions are either.
No
On certain parts of the beach. It just depends where you are on it. Just make sure your dog is on a 6 foot leash
The water and dump station for the Lake Michigan sites is right across the road in the group camping entrance.
I know how you feel. Maybe throw a shout on Craigslist?
