Absolutely love this place. I give it a 5 star. The pictures will show the beauty that we saw , why anybody would give it a one star is beyond me. We were even blessed to see a crocodile.

So far so good, was greeted at the entrance with a very nice person working behind the window. We were told it was going to be too hot for camping but put pleasantly surprised by the lake there is a nice breeze and I believe it will be a great peaceful evening. The campground is clean and the campsites are large and have shade. All good so far

When we entered the state park for camping, the camp site your assigned isn't clear in anyway. We just took an open spot as there wasn't a station with information on a board. Be aware that the road to the campsites has potholes and unpaved, and narrow in areas. The RV pad is level, paved and clean with beautiful views of the lake. The restrooms at the campsite could definitely use an update.

Stopped in for a night during our travels. Beautiful campsite right on the water. Our pictures don't give this place justice as the skies were cloudy and it's a bit cold. But still nice. The place was clean with heated bathhouse and the staff were very kind. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the experience!

I saw a couple of people fishing. Pretty sure it is. Just have your fishing & regular license.
It'll give you options from 1 day on up, we use the kiosk. No one is there in the booth since Covid.
Yes
I don't believe so but I could be wrong. Call. I don't think they have sewers on lots.
Not sure about price but they do have campsites and showers that I'm told are nice.
Camping is further north and south of Jackson. But there are hiking trails in this park.
They are open.
Yes
Yes
No charge. Must have fishing licence
Carp, bass typical mississippi lake fish. Not very good fishing from what we saw. It's a state park, yes you will need a fishing license.
According to this page https://www.mdwfp.com/parks-destinations/golf/lefleurs-bluff/ the park closes at 5:30 pm.
They are out in abundance and along the Delta area. When it comes to catfish Spring is a great time to start because of the warm weather and just make sure you have good bait such as shad or flavored chicken should be great in catching large catfish
500 dollars a month
What is the distance in Texas
No .. has a primitive camp site .. if you camp you have to pay
Yes they can accommodate 5th wheels that size. Call before you go. The park was recently flooded. We really enjoyed our stay there. Wish we could've stayed longer but had to move due to flooding caused by a lot of rain.
$4.00 for day use not sure how much for camping
Actually at the waterworks dam there are no restrooms so bring ur own toilet paper or use leaves or walk back to the park if you come in from the park but a lot of use old school folks come in from Lindin Dr and hike in for free about a 12 minute hike with gear and 9 without good luck
I believe so. For kids after a certain age like 16, but fish are rarely caught there unless it's right after a fishing derby and they have released the remaining fish into the rest of the lake.
Of course. Look at all my photos. You will not be sorry about anything when coming here. I live in Texas and never pass it while visiting my daughter in college! I am amazed at what Mississippi has to offer. Every nature trail and historical spots have not let me down.
If you enter through Mayes Lake i think there is.
Who is this?
No reservation required. Honor bx or a interactive cache at the gate. It will ask for your intentions, day use, overnight, etc. Then swipe your card. That is if the ranger is not there. Tent primitive is 15 dollars I think
It's about 1/4 mile to the dock with good fishing. Not sure about not paying to enter and still being able to enter. There were a lot of cars parked outside when we went.
You can call them and ask cost , site and book I think
u can't camp overnight but you can right next door at wildlife
I would call them. I'm not aware of showers but others mentioned they have some. It was $4 a car if you only go to visit the park, but free if you go to the science museum.
You have to contact app directly for Price because It's Probably changed as the Season Changes period I guess you could stay at a campsite
Yes this is a dog friendly place
