There are several loops in this campground, the first one is more out in the open and looked like it had very little privacy. It was also the most crowded. Maybe there are fhu sites there, I can't imagine what else the attraction would be. The other 2-3 loops are more in the woods with lots of shade and privacy between sites. We stayed in 153 which was close to the boat ramp, very shady, very nice. NOTE: if you need potable water in your RV, get it at the sanitation station on the right just after the check-in kiosk. The spigots throughout the loop do not have hose fittings, they are bucket only spouts. There is a beautiful trail (part of the the North Country Trail) that leads through the forest and goes along a very steep washed away cliff along Lake Superior for a short while. You can't get down to the beach unless you tumble down, and it would be a long tumble! We loved it here!!

I stayed for 3 days at campsite 43, which was a small lakefront site. Overall, the state park is kind of small and has no notable features other than a small and uninviting Muskallonge Lake beachfront. The opposite side along Lake β¦

I think the checkout time is standardized in all of the state parks, which is 1:00pm.
As it's state land, the 25 pounds per person per year is the law.
Yes they do and pit also
No, but one mile back from there is Deer Park Lodge and they a laundry facility.
All camp sites at muskellonge state park have a picnic table and a fire pit. Bring your own grill though.
Last week we saw everything from no service thru LTE in our site. The office has free wifi. The grand kids attended school using that.
About 1 mile there is a laundry and store, maybe there. If not, go toward Newberry. Look for Pine Stump on Deer Park Rd, its a ways. Also, Grand Marais is about 20 miles away thru the woods going west. Good luck. You might ask at the park too. The Friends of Muskallonge State Park have some things for free.
It's a state park, so there are no water lines, and you have to fill your tank upon arrival if you want water in your RV. Electricity? Absolutely.
The park itself closes at 9pm so I advise getting there before then. If they happen to notice you without the paper that hangs from your rearview mirror you can get in some trouble.
You can ride to your campsite and from your campsite out to the road only.
I don't think so
Yes, raising water is a huge problem read this https://www.monroenews.com/news/20191216/great-lakes-water-levels-to-rise-in-2020-threatening-tourist-spots
The beach is ok if not you can swim in lake superior.lol
No idea this is a customer review site not the store try calling them
This is a customer review site not the store try calling them as we have no idea
There's also a parking area at the lookout, and a way down.
Check the DNR website
Each 'post' serves two sites similar to most campgrounds i have been in.
I don't know because it changes from day to day depending on lack of rain. You may want to call the park.
If you use the dnr reservations website to find your camp site, you can select your equipment size and it will show all sites that can accommodate it. If you called someone at the state park though, I'm not sure why you're asking this since she already told you it would fit.
Not sure about the site but it is a great campground. Not a lot of things around it. Good for 4 wheelers, dirt bikes and other outdoor activities.
I don't have a map in front of me, so I don't know the answer to that.
This i s an awesome place to find agates!! Please inquire about the rock show in Sept. It's awesome
