An absolutely astonishing wild life exhibit in New Berry Michigan. My family and I stopped here on our way to the Tahquamenon Falls and it was one of the best decisions we could make. You know the bears are very well taken care of by the hard working and charismatic staff and family here. Our family photo with the baby bear was my absolute favorite, without a doubt! I would recommend bringing a carrier for a baby rather than a stroller as the sandy paths were sometimes hard to walk comfortably through- well worth your time though! Not to mention, I lost one of my duffel bags here and their amazing staff got back to me within the next day in order to ship it back to me. I will always have a soft spot for this place now. Thank you Jules! You are lovely❤️

Great experience at Oswald's Bear Ranch. The bears were pretty active and seemed to have quite a bit of space to roam around. The cubs and yearlings we're rambunctious, wrestling around with each other and climbing all over. $25 per car, but it goes to help the bears, so it is worth it. An additional $10 for a chance to feed and pet a cub which my daughters loved. Going earlier in the day will help with the bear feeding as they had to rush to get everyone through when we went, since the bears weren't as hungry anymore.

Wonderful bear refuge! Babies, yearlings, females and males all looked healthy. All separated with lots of space to roam. I would have liked to seen them doing presentations on bears, education of sorts. They do let you feed a baby bear and get pictures.

Last day is September 30 every year. Closed October 1 til late May every year. Seasonal business, open summer and closed winter.
You dont get to pet them, if you get your picture taken with a cub, you might be able to touch that one for a second, but these arent domesticated bears.
Your visit is however long you make. Take your time and enjoy. The bear cubs are so entertaining.
It was well worth it go of you can
There this weekend and yes, $10, masks required. They have signs saying masks were required but there were a mixture of people with and without masks, but definitely needed for the pictures.
Kimberly is correct, if that's what your trying to ask
Service pets are allowed, they did say if they are not a service dog they have parking spots in the shade. .
Yes
10 for a single person, 20 for more than one person in a car, bags of apples are 3 to feed bears, and i think its 10 to take a picture with a cub (have to wear a mask i think still) not sure bout that last part its been a few weeks
We were there a few weeks ago! They are open, as someone else stated, masks are required in gift shop. When we went the babies were there to view but they weren't taking pics with them which was a bummer.
We were there a couple weeks ago. They are open 9:30 - 5 pm. Although they had the cubs in "quarantine" and we couldnt take pictures with them which was a huge bummer.
It took my family around 2 hours to experience everything. Pic with cub, buying a bag of apples to feed the yearlings, males, and females. Met Dale Oswald and talked to him while my wife and daughter bought a couple of t-shirts from the gift shop.
Marquette, MI., home to Northern Michigan University, is about 2hrs (100 miles) by car from Oswalds Bear Ranch. Dean & Jewel usually fly from Marquette or Kinross(same distance but east Sault Ste. Marie, MI.)
There are some trees up front. But i wouldnt leave my dog is a car with the windows up even in the shade
Trails are pretty sandy too so i would say wheelchair would be difficult. But for $20 a car load its still worth it. A wheelchair could easily see the top pens where most of the bears were when we were there.
No. They could upset the bears. Service dogs are ok.
I'm not really sure what you are asking. You have to pay weather you drive in or walk in.
Yes, they have cubs you can touch. It's $10 to get a photo of you touching a cub. But the experience is quick. Maybe 5-10 seconds is all the time you get with the cub.
Their website says 930am-5pm. Great place!
I think it was $25.00. it was so cool though. Well eorth it!
20.00 per car. Doesn't matter how many people are in the car. Definitely worth it
Take a selfie ... fomo
