I like this place cause it's peaceful, however what I don't like is that there is no ramp for the handicap to get to the lake. The cabins are not handicap accessible also.

What a wonderful cabin. It had a beautiful view of the snow covered lake. It was warm and comfortable. The kitchen has all the essentials except a tea pot. The cabin is VERY CLEAN, the bed linens are clean and white, and very warn. The bathroom was spotless. The owners were very helpful with recommendations and making sure we were settled in. We are definitely going back next year.

Have stayed here a few times snowmobiling and truly enjoy the overall experience. The owners are friendly and very accommodating and have made many improvements to this place in past few years. Highly recommend.

Loons, bald eagles, fox and fishing on a private lake...this place is beautiful beyond words. The property is well maintained and the cabins are stocked with almost everything you need. The owners are friendly and the resort is conveniently located for day trips to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point and Mackinac Island to name a few. We loved our stay and would recommend Halfway Lake Cottage to anyone looking for an amazing UP experience. Our three kids had a blast playing with other kids while we relaxed by the lake or used the complimentary kayaks. We will be back!!!
