My husband and I traveled to the U.P. from downstate on our Harley and our hotel recommended coming here for dinner. After a long day of riding we were hot, tired, and hungry. We were there during the dinner rush but it was definitely worth the wait! The food was excellent as was our service! My husband had the surf and turf special that was recommended to us by our waitress and I had the homemade pastie. So incredibly good! Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal...I was a server/bartender for 15 years so I know what the job entails. Even though she was slammed she never skipped a beat! She was so outgoing and I just loved her laugh! I wish I could remember her name-sorry! Whenever we are in the Newberry area we will definitely stop and eat here again! Thank you for the great meal and service! The U.P. never disappoints!

Going for a leisurely Thursday afternoon drive, discovered this wonderful pub. I had the Ghost of Larson Burger and my boyfriend had the regular sized Gyro with steak fries. If you like a little bit of spice on your burger, this is the burger for you. It was cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing. My boyfriend's gyro was regular size(you could also get the knife and fork size). I would hate to see how big that one was because the regular size was pretty big. I snagged one of his steak fries and they were crispy and delicious. I'm pretty picky about steak fries because of the thickness and these were done amazingly. I had a margarita for a drink and it was perfectly made to perfection. Very pleased with this visit. Highly recommend.

Good food, clean and well-run restaurant, super pleasant staff. As of today this restaurant has nearly 1,200 ratings with a very respectable star count. It is one of the only places to eat in the area and so it's pretty busy. We were here on a Thursday in April and still every table was occupied. We both got the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious, and the seasoned fries were perfectly cooked. We definitely will be back.

Feels like the only place in town open for dinner in the middle of winter. Service was really good! I had a pulled pork sandwich which was outstanding. My friend got perch and he said it was good.

There was no outside seating when we were there the last week of June
Yes, with spacing of tables as requested by the governor. MIT study shows that makes no difference with Covid, by the way.
You must wear a mask to enter and be served. They have closed tables and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizer provided as you enter. You must give a contact name and number for one pearson in the group. They do sanitize the tables between guests. Servers wear masks at all times.
It was on Sunday June 29th
Got over a foot yesterday expecting 3 or more inches today
