The market is located only on the ground floor, no steps and doors look wide enough to accommodate a wheel chair. But it does get very packed like a N Y subway at rush hour, so making way will take time, even with the courteous folks at this market.

Totally Nutz just opened a stand at market.

Market days are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

The stands at Market have mostly food items for sale. The exceptions, to my knowledge are a few stands sell homemade aprons and hot pads etc

There are fans for cool air. Doors are open though. So not really cooled. So at the moment not temperature controled. Most of the produce (the ones require cold) are kept in fridges. No idea about winter. The building with the amount of people make it decent indoor temperature and a jacket somewhat annoying

That is correct. They sell market dollars...looks like a big "check" that can be used at any of the stands and you can get them at the customer service desk in the northeast corner across from the pickle stand.

If you have the time and like to stroll, fee parking exists about four blocks in any direction from Penn Square (exact center of the city and close to Central Market.) The nice thing about parking out and walking is you don't pay to park, you get some exercise and depending on where you park, you will pass many interesting shops to investigate. Cental Market is nice, but there are so many other things to see, do and buy in downtown Lancaster. Don't give any more money to the parking authority than absolutely necessary!

Some fresh produce stands do and maybe the maple hoft stand which is dairy. Always ask they are all super friendly there.

Not sure about the discount. But I always park in the parking garage or the lot directly across from market. It can be accessed via Prince St. There are also side streets you can park on on you don't mind walking a few blocks.
