Wonderful set up, my four-year-old greatly enjoyed her time here - especially the parachute launcher. She had a blast launching the little parachute and then catching it, probably 30+ times. The rest of the exhibits are interesting and it covers a wide range of science topics: aerodynamics, air pressure, hydrology, electricity, physics, engineering, optics, conservation, and robotics were some of the many aspects we saw. There are also brain-teasers and a few items just for fun. I may have missed it, but I don't recall any exhibits on chemistry or magnetism. Either way, this is a great place for your kid to get hands-on experience with science - it was very well presented!

We are members and my 6 and 10 year old love it there. So many things to do.

It was quick entrance. We went prior to closing. It doesn’t really have much to see. I liked outside better than inside.

Our cub scout group went there. The kids were around 7-8.
Hello, Thank you so much for reaching out! Our general admission pricing is $9 per person for all guests age 3 and over. Children age 2 and under are free. We do have a free parking lot across the street next to Quips restaurant. On a typical day, you shouldn't have trouble finding space in the lot, but if you are visiting on a special event day like the Science of Star Wars or the Science is Amazing Festival and the lot is full, there is street parking nearby the museum. Hope to see you here soon!
Since every display and demo is accessible on the ground floor, there is no elevator in the facility.
Hello! Yes, our facility is Wheelchair accessible. You can find out more info about you’re upcoming visit here: www.LancasterScienceFactory.org/plan-your-visit
To me it depends on the teenager. Many teens would like it, but if they aren't interested in the activities, for instance if they mostly are interested in sports, I'm not sure. In general, I think it appeals across a wide age span.
There is free admission on the First Friday of every month from 5-8pm!
Yes, 10am-5pm. We’re open Mondays in the summertime Memorial Day-Labor Day. Hope to see you here soon!
