We saw wild horses and a great view of the lake

Great spot to camp or RV. Numerous hiking trails, wild horses, and beaches by the lake to unwind.

I hate to give away the secret. It's a great place to prep and decompress. Outside of that is reasonably affordable for powered spots. Water is a little sketchy. Many spots lack it. Our current water is red when first coming out of the faucet. Great views, lovely wildlife, clean bathrooms. Just don't park in the gravel.

Not as an activity suggested for the park. You may give it a try with the mud and the water of the lake.
Not a bad one, qhe the lake is low it isn't shallow either. Just stick to the south end, also called big washoe by locals.
I've been here 5 days and there are signs up at park entrance warning of high mercury levels in the fish
The RV/trailer campsites are first come first served, we went the wednesday before the Labor Day weekend, there were two campsites open when we got there.
Yes. 2 in A area. Not hot but warm enough in the middle of a 3 min. cycle
No, there is one at Turtle Rock campground in Markleville.
Most bicyclists go around the lake using old 395 and east shore through Washoe city.
Definitely on the weekends, possibly on the weekdays.
Not currently. No burning anything producing ash. Propane, butane ok

Yes
Mercury warning signage.. Sooo... Not really sure. It's a shallow 12 ft max depth. Supposedly don't eat the fish
Yes, they have power and water hookups at 24 of their 49 sites.
RV/trailer campsites are first come first served, mine was $25 a night
Yes tent and RV it they also have a pavilion for shade at most spots.... Trees are scarce
Probably best to ask the park ranger on duty that. However, there are no camp tags or pillars in that area. So I would assume no.
Anytime. Just fill out the time card and drop it off in the dropbox.
Any time there is a pay booth when you drive in. I believe it takes cash or check only.
It's first come first serve for sites, and yes dogs are allowed on a leash!
Get there early as the area fills quickly in thr afternoon.
Once you're in past the gate you make a right hand turn follow the road all the way to the end
All sites are for tents or RVs. First come first serve
