Very Nice Beach. No crowd. Very Peacefull area. Have tables, washroom and parking on the Beach. I have seen many horses and ducks in the lake. I think not suitable for swim.

Was pretty crowded, we only stumbled upon it by accident but was pretty cool watching the wind surfers.

Hidden gem of a location. When I come here I can escape the city and pretend that I’m on a beach somewhere. It’s very satisfying and simply gorgeous through the seasons. Please drive slow if you see horses. World class kite-boarding destination. Bathrooms and picnic tables available at multiple locations. Bring your family out for a day trip without driving for hours or crazy traffic.

When it's not too windy, Sandy Beaches is a great place to play in the sun and sand without the Tahoe crowds.

It's a $5 fee since Washoe Lake is considered a state park. If you have a state park pass then you don't have to pay.
I dont think it costs anything bit not sure. We were only parked for a few min before we headed off to the camp ground
