The Tahoe Meadows South Trail is a nice flat trail though the Tahoe Meadows. It is a mixture of boardwalks and dirt trails and can be holes in a few loops of various lengths. Likely best to visit in late Spring or early Summer when the meadow is vibrant. Overall a nice beautiful trail even in early Fall.

Yes there is still quite a bit of snow. If you are hiking you can rent snow shoes from Bobos
...some snow, farther up on the hill.
