Excellent place to visit. The kids can get a wrist band/card for around 30 bucks and ride the rides unlimited for 48 hours. Great place to just hang out. Lots of shops also. Free parking and doesn't cost anything to enter the park.

We happened upon this after seeing a billboard advertisement for Paula Deen's family restaurant. It was located in the island resort. The family style all you can eat dinner was delicious. And then it turned out there were so many shops, and entertainments for the kids. And in the middle of it all they have a water feature with dancing waters that are choreographed to two great songs every half hour all day and into the night. Lots of free parking, and a shuttle for those who don't want to walk the 3-4 blocks. We could ride our bikes from the lovely Foothills RV Park the level 3 miles on the nice bike/pedestrian trail.

Clean, colorful, fun! Delicious quick eats as well as sit down restaurants. Multiple large public restrooms available. Animated musical fountain. Rides, games, arcades, lasar tag, escape games, simulator rides. Shops of all sorts of goodies, souvenirs, art, toys, and more!

We went here for the ferris wheel, ended up walking around the Island. We had a great experience and ate at Paula Dean's. Our visit was in Jan, so several outside kid rides were closed, but plenty of indoor arcade games. The trolley is part of parking and is free. One can walk the distance but it's easier to save your energy for shopping the Island. Our trolley driver was very friendly and funny. We will definitely return if traveling here in the future.

Yes there is something for the whole family. Me and my family really like going there when we visit the area
Make sure you watch the Fountain show , preferably at night.
Yes thectram was running Monday thru Wednesday. We left Thursday so not sure but assume unless bad weather its running.
Yes...if on a leash ...but not in all stores UNLESS they are SERVICE DOGS
Well quite a few of the stores there sell t-shirts so just chose a store and you should be good to go.
Yes I would highly recommend the island to anyone visiting the pigeon forge area. Great shopping, bars, and restaurants.
Rams are running and the waits are not long...we were just there 3 days ago. Masks are a must while on tram and in businesses
Yes
Technically it is beside it at the convention center, but yes there is free parking available.
Aug. 23rd & 24th, that's a Friday & Saturday.
You can bring them onto the island but some stores may not allow them to be taken indoors.
There were all kinds of different stores, we shopped so much I can't remember which ones was there! I do know there is a moonshine store!
I dont recall seeing it there i am pretty sure they have it in Gatlinburg.
Yes you can and they have a tram also from the parking lot also.
Everything is open but they do have a mask order in this county. I'm not sure about ticket prices for the rides though sorry.
No general admission...the kids can get unlimited ride passes for around 40dollars for two days
It is $5 for the moonshine tasting but then they give u a $5 coupon off of anything you purchase, so it is pretty much free. Its so much fun!
It is wheelchair accessible to every store. There are some stores that make it nearly impossible to look through in a wheelchair.
Yes, the island is open on new years. They usually have a band and fireworks at midnight. The stores close around 9 PM, but the rest of the island is open. Great time there on new years!
"The Island" is outstanding for shopping and eating. So many choices and you can park behind Margaritaville and take tram in if walking is too much. Was there for Rock the Smokies, rented a cabin and had a great time.
15$ per adult. If you pick up those coupon books that they have at like every place grab more than one they have a $2 coupon in there. I think kids are a little cheaper for two adults and two kids my husband paid 50 bucks
We were there last night and it was shown on the advertisement to stop at 11:30 p.m.
Not at the island. Forge cinemas is very close by on Parkway though.
They close down the fountains but the lighting makes up the beauty
Yes u can great place for young kids and adults.Awesome place
I'd assume online is cheaper but there are many coupon books that have some good deals on tickets
No, everything closes at 11pm, including the fountains.
Yes, there are places to rent several different sorts of motor vehicles like motorcycles and can ams but like they said they aren't in the island, they are in other parts of pigeon forge though..
Yes, Scooter Sales and Rentals right down the street. They have manual wheelchairs and scooters. They deliver to the island also.
Yes. However, but not in restaurant unless they are Service Animals.
I'm at Margaritaville this week (Wednesday through no Saturday)and the current rate including tax is $245 per night.
I saw a holiday inn within walking distance.
Sunset / from the skycoster
There is a ticket window close to the arcade to buy tickets.
I'm not, but I'm sure they is
It's at the end of every hour, and you can check the island website for all the information on the fountain
From $89 - $149 a night, some are pet friendly you can check on Google for each hotel/motel for pet related questions. Most of them will have all info available on there website.
It's partially decorated, from what we saw this weekend, there's some decorations in place.
There are quite a few smaller rides and an arcade. No big rollercoasters or rides like that.
liability issue ...a disabled person has to walk a mile...because a 8 lb dog can't ride the tram. ...could be a problem as well
I did not see any. The parking area is a short walk, but they do have valet parking.
Yes they do have rocking chairs around the dancing water pond. They are spaced for social distancing and are cleaned by staff on a schedule. If you plan to go soon and it is sunny try to find some of the chairs in the shade.
Both can be used, no issues, was just there this past weekend.
I would go to Greenbrier state park outside of gatlinburg. It's a very nice place to spend the day playing and lots of river play for the kids. Bring tubes if you want to float. Pack a picnic.
From my understanding they do not
Yes. And yes.
No require mask but the people and the stores are taking caution measures....Is a great place to be now in summer
Anywhere from $3 to $14. I'd highly recommend the $30 48 hour deal for unlimited rides.
Every store varies, but the actual place never closes, you can still walk around and enjoy the fountains. Expect most stotes to close around 12 (with exceptions on new years day and eve)
Theres all kinds shops, restaurants, bars definitely should be able to find something for everyone
Yes it cost. We spent about $100 on ride bands, ferris wheel and the mirror maze. Skip the maze because it's extra
Til like the first week of February go to my Pigeonforge. Com and it list all events
Our little 3 yr old was not tall enough to ride the bumper cars, but there were some go-cart race cars he could ride with us.
Not that I saw, but you can bring yours on the trolley to the island from the parking lot
Yes. We are are there now. Weather has been great (68). Today is rainy and in the low 30s.
Yes there are go to the Ticket section.
I did. They even let me ride it close up to the Mountain Wheel. So I could ride it. There's also a River Trail entrance there that's a smooth track you can ride on.
I doubt it, seeing parking is free, they won't allow that. But there are lots of camp grounds around
The walk isnt bad if you have to walk
Parking is good. Trolley run frequently. Parking is Pigeon Fordge is Abit more hetic and pricey. It is better to take the trolley
Depends on how long it takes them to load it but id say 20-30 minutes
Dont ride a scooter. Walk, get healthy and enjoy. You can sit around the fountain area with some moonshine to rest later!
In a vehicle you may be able to get away with it but in a camper van or motorhome probably not. Pigeon Forge isn't really an rv overnight friendly town. Neither is Gatlinburg. It sure isn't like it is out west, lots of blm land to park for free. Good luck
At the Be Free Boutique
They have several museums, The Titanic was pretty neat, arcades, plenty of places to shop. The Sky bridge, hiking and dinner shows. Theres so many things to do. Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge have plenty of things to keep you busy
10 p.m
Firewater Junction
Yes, The Island is just a name of the location. Only thing that is free is parking. You can get a bundle package for the rides but other than that, you'll have to pay for the restaurants, shops and entertainment there.
It is located in Gatlinburg, TN but it's only a short drive from the Island, it's one town over and has lots of attractions as well
I suggest the hotel too.
i saw trolley over there from parking lot to the island and island to parking lot.and I think u can rent wheelchair as I saw someone there with rented wheelchair.but I think u should call ones and confirm where exactly u could get it.
Just to pricey for what you get. You can get more for your money if you go to dollywood. Which is what i will do next time.
No cost to visit The Island, parking in the lower lot is also free with shuttle service to the front, you will need to wait at a pickup area. Rides, shopping and dining all are paid separately.
Yes it's $14 for adult and $12 for seniors and kids.
No you pay only for the ride per person. No fees to sit on bench and watch.
Probably rain!!! They had 3 guys playing bluegrass last night and the fountain show.
There is music there during the day and at night. Its a must see. I went during the day this past weekend and the music was going and it was like 3pm
I'm really not sure. Sorry

It's just for privacy and security reasons. There are some people out there who DO use fake credit/debit cards, so they do this to keep people safe.
It's an outdoor shopping center with restaurants, water fountains, live music, and amusement park rides for children.
Most of them do. It's a great place to just walk around and look. I took my 2 great nephew's and there were both in elementary school and we had a great time. I didn't have to spend much either. We done a lot and was there a long time. Great place for bonding with the kids!
Everything is open! Restaurants, shopping, play for the kids!
No ticket is required to shop or eat at the island. They have free public parking and you can walk around look at all the shops and if its night time you can watch the light shows and listen to music. They have chairs all around the water display where you can watch the light shows. They have lots of shops and places to grab a bite of food if you are hungry. They also have the moonshine store where you can sample shine and purchase jars if you are old enough be sure to have your drivers license because you will need them to sample and buy alcohol. They also have a big rope course in the back you can climb on if you like doing the obstacles its like three levels high, you wear a harness and stay on the course as long as you want. The hugh Farris wheel that you see from about any where is not free, you do have to pay to ride the farris wheel. They have a magic shop there that your kids will enjoy if you have kids. They have a person doing magic tricks when you walk, our kids loves that.
Different prices .
You dont pay to get to the island. Shuttles from parking lot to the island are also free.
It's free to get in, but some of the attractions have a fee

No, they do not offer those
Sorry, don't know the exact amount but like others said it's a lot! I've never had an issue.
I don't know, it was not posted and no one said anything about it. We went in most of the stores and nothing was mentioned. Sorry perhaps you can call up there and they might be able to answer your questions.
All parking is free, we just shopped so I don't know about the motel or the rides
Officially, the Winter Festival begins November 7 with a fireworks display on Thanksgiving night. No mention of Paula Dean appearing. Dolly Wood and the Pigeon Forge area will feature over 5 million lights on display.
Yes, but unless they are service they may not be allowed into the shops and restraunts.
Most everything will be closed but I'm with everyone else it will be on a shop to shop basis.
See it where? There isnt theater on island but there is one close by
I've searched everything I could. That might be name of song repeats in chorus it has to do with my bro died March 1 always said gonna give u the boot all way my pigeon forge just bought a boot for car for sis came out of store and it was playing!!!
There is a couple just outside of town that wind around the mountains just past Mel's Diner.
Round 11 I think some are open later
For the ISLAND.. it's not a # ...it's called ISLAND DR.
I don't think they are but they are at patriot park
They have different prices but they also have a bracelet where they can ride all day
I would recommend staying at Margaritaville. Tons better and balconies that overlook the water show. Plus rooms are super nice and spacious. O can't forget the awesome rooftop pool with margaritas.
I believe the law in Tennessee is 15.
It depends on the ride, but you can get a 2 day pass with unlimited rides for $30.
Yes and some stores have signs that say conceal and open carry are welcome.
Yes!! There is a toy store next to fountain.
Yes. The island is free to explore. There are many different stores and shops to visit. They are a little bit expensive but, it is well worth it. Visit The Fudgery for some wonderful sweets or, The Jerky Store for a huge variety of beef jerky thats sure to please. Also, the light show at night is free and a beautiful site to see!
There is a place called Smoky Mountain Leather that has leather phone cases
I didn't see one
Look for the huge ferris wheel you want to go at night.
I am not sure but there many beautiful places up there to get married
It is 3.7 miles from The Island to Dollywood via Teaster Ln and Veterans Blvd. About 10 minutes if the traffic is slow. Moderate to heavy traffic and the travel time will increase.
I'm not sure. I only went up there for a month during summer.
Nothing has changed yet it's still in the planning
We carry our two yorkies everywhere. Buy ya a pet stroller, and ya good to go. Now the candy shop, we did not, just sayin. Walmart, yes. And they knew they were there. They are 8,so they have been doing it for a while!!!!!
