It's a very fun place to go even for vacation. When I went we Stayed for a week right beside it in a inn called James manor which I would give a 5 star rating so if planning on going Thatcher would do and the Horner is only like 20min from dollywood

I would recommend staying at Margaritaville. Tons better and balconies that overlook the water show. Plus rooms are super nice and spacious. O can't forget the awesome rooftop pool with margaritas.
