James Walker
Very good help for homeless people
Todd Hairgrove
Got great help
Lu Fernandez
They are amazing in helping those in need. In my opinion, those that receive help from them during their difficult times, should later make a donation to these services once they are able to.

Now, 2 months later, I will answer my own question. WHAT IS A CLARITY CARD? A Clarity Card is a photo identification card issued by Catholic Charities, shelters or other social services agencies in Las Vegas.
Can call 211. Or contact. Salvation Army. Actually going in person is best. Since you are online join 702 resources they are quick to help. 702 resources is a group on Facebook
Both
Hi Latashia--Catholic Charities does not have a voucher system, but Clark County Social Services has an office on our campus that offers something similar. Their phone number is 702-455-1990 or the main office is 702-455-4270
no they dont
We do not check warrant status on our campus for our services
Try the social services office at this location. Be early, the line begins before they open (around 0730hrs). You'll have to fill out some info on a computer near the window, once you're called. Then you will wait again to make an "appointment"for later in the week, to be seen by an actual caseworker. Allow a couple of hours for the first part, and up to half a day for the "appointment" part. You'll need ID and any paperwork they ask you for. You'll need to prove Nevada residency. Parking is free and secure. Good luck and God Bless.
Hey the clarity offices Department of Smashing systems for a VC at the American Bar got some companies and alphabetize your boxes and everything have a good day
they offer shelter, immigration, adoption, English classes, one meal a day, and also have social services for the county and the state on campus
Please contact our Immigration Services department at 702-383-8387 for help with resources.
I would think so
Hi 6reen, are you referring to our night shelter? No we are not requiring anyone to get tested to receive services, for any services. For the Night shelter you will need to go through some screening questions and will be given a mask while at our facility, but no test.
No they put you through a screening process and then tell you that you are on the list but it could be weeks months longer so no you don't get same-day help..
Clarity cards are free nd yes u can use whatever I'd u have to get a clarity card for Nevada....but u need no identification at ALL to get a clarity card.
Doesn't have to be a question, I'm updating the impoance of keeping Catholic Charities in pristine ordinance for the safety of the visitors.
Hi Ella--are you a registered client with any of our programs?
Yes, they help with housing
Hi Carlos--are you a registered client of our WIC program or any program at Catholic Charities? Do you have children age 5 or less? If so please call 702-366-2069 to join our WIC program.
Absolutely we do, the value will be auctioned off and it will be a donation to our programs and a tax write off for you! you can call 844-410-4483 or visit here for more information. https://catholiccharitiessnv.careasy.org/home
Youre kidding, a Catholic charging the homeless for meals?I wonder what POPE FRANCIS would say about that. This is FAGIN from Charles Dickens. Completely unbelievable. In New York City for example there isn't One Church or organization that dares charge the homeless for a meal, especially now that Racist Trump is cutting food stamps. This is the gambling capital of the world and you have to dig into the pockets of the poor?? While some of your racist blacks get everything, Hispanics and incidentally some whites also and others are denied food and mostly charged. And as far as that stupid card is concerned its nothing but a pretext to control people. Nevada is a highly racist state. I know what I say, for I have been homeless in new York city and in Las Vegas, only to be faced with some racist blacks that don't like Latinos who think that they are WHITE and some Jews that support them, because in my view they want to instigate a racist war. Go ahead throw me in jail.
Our dining room is open to all, free meal at 10am everyday of the year. Or we also have a $5 Breakfast at 7:30am till 9am and Lunch from 12 to 2pm M-F All are welcome
Just to clarify I called Catholic charity charities administration offices and the shelter they do accept sex offenders and you do not need an ID you need a clarity card
you can get a Clarity card, it is a picture i.d. no need to have anything but your social security number, not the card

The ONLY place in Vegas I've ever received anything but extreme verbal abuse and blatant lies is North Las Vegas LDS Employment Center. They did a superb job of redoing my resume. Their interview classes are taught by retired HR Managers. They have temp & full-time jobs in all fields. They are 100% free. No income qualifications. They have a food pantry right next door. They have other resources available and recommendations. They are always very positive and helpful. Everyone I've sent to this wonderful place has thanked me for the referral. Warning, Clark County Social Services insults everyone who shows up no matter what their situation. You will waste all of your time, energy, and yes $$$. They will demand to know why you don't have friends to buy up all of your possessions so you can pay your bills. They don't get it that your limited stuff may be 2nd or 3rd hand and worth nothing to anyone else. What they ask you and how they treat you is ILLEGAL. Can't sue them for fraud.
No go to Help Southern Nevada they will help with rental assistance or go to the county welfare office.
Monday thru Saturday 8:00a.m. Until 4:00 p.m.
Yes they do but you have to go down to client services and they will help you from there

You can inquire at 702-387-2282 or stop by Client Services from 8am to 3pm M-F.
They did have one free meal a day before. Not sure what your question is. GMaps Q&A is not really a forum for opinions. It's supposed to help people seeking answers about the places they go.

They give you 400$ for three months if you have monthly rent. It can't be a weekly or motel but an apt or house. You take them your lease and talk to the person in charge of the program. I've never done it but have talked to em and this is what i was told. Hope it helps

I'm not sure, unless parole verifies any program or rehabilitation.. Some insurance and circumstances can cover this. Check with parole to investigate your options. Ozzy. ♿🇺🇸
No only Monday though Friday
Hi Brandi, our facilities are for men, since we operate a men's shelter, but the Shade Tree also operates a shelter for women, it might be good to check with them directly at 702-385-0072 or by web https://www.theshadetree.org/contact/ Bes of luck to you!

Catholic charities won't help with overdue bills. There is a Social Service/Welfare office on the site who might help. That office helps with a rent voucher, Medicaid, EBT and other emergency needs.
You can also try 702-387-2282 Client Services number, or our main phone number is 702-387-2662 Hi Greg, we have a Men's Night Shelter open every night to all first come first serve, check in starts about 3pm and we also have a Day Shelter that is open every day from 7am to 3pm, a free meal at 10am each day. Our phone number is 702-385-2662, hope this helps you!
Ms. Johnson, usually yes, but make sure you have all required documents. Proof of address, utility bill within the last 30 days, an ID (Nevada ID usually will get you a few extra commodities if available, and if chicken are in the household you may want to take their birth certificate/ssn.
yes, the last time I checked was if you provided me with the requested documents.

They can help you out with anything
Not sure about Catholic Charity. Possibly through Social Services. A one way ticket. I know of them doing that a couple years back. Good luck.
They have to own the home and write a letter for you with their contact info. Take that to Social Services. They might help for one month. 400 bucks.
Food, diapers I think rent utility bills and other stuff
Do they help if your staying in a weekly suite
Yes they will give you a clarity card and thats what you'll use when u get food.
No just come in
I think you need last month Bill's showing what's going out. And what's comeing in. And, some I.D.
They offer all types of services
You can contact catholic charitis or one of the other non profits that may offer services just remember it may not happen immediately as there is a process
They will if you qualify. You can also check with Social Services located at the same location. Also check the Salvation Army located across the street on Main Street.
You
Catholic Charities takes clothes. The Rescue Mission on Bonanza will take anything you have.
No
I'm not familiar with many of thier programs. Sorry I couldn't help😕
That's good to know. But other than the advice of where to go, I really don't believe they do. Unless you're asking for asylum within the church, but then that is completely different.-PEACE.....
Excuse me, who can I make the appointment with? Greetings, thanks for the reply
The best thing for you to do is check with the consulate or an attorney that is the best thing you can do
I dont work for them. Im a homeless man that has used their shelter for over 3 years. If they get any donations, they sell it in their stores. They are a business.
Rescue mission does just have to pay $45 and they will deliver the furniture to you.
No
If you are a female there are two places to stay , the shade tree which is on Main Street and Owens or the Salvation Army on Owens but Catholic Charities is for men only for residential, however, you can get food there.
They appreciate all volunteers. Give them a call and sign up for details.-PEACE.....
You can go to the customer service department at catholic charities, there they help you for classes in English
If you consider food a donation yes you pick it up but people usually drop other things off such as donations( meaning clothing housewares hygiene goods Etc )not pick THEM up. As far as I know only food is distributed there, all other things they give away once a year.
Ask God he know what you need he will provide your need have faith go to living grace church they are caring people
The keyword is, income. You must have one to be eligible for the voucher.-PEACE.....
You need to go to a Clark county social services office and apply. You will need valid Nevada ID
All I can tell you is that your I'd must be a photo I'D that is issued by either the government or the state and it must be valid. You must have a verifiable monthly income as well. But yes, if you qualify for the loan, you can get it the same day. Good luck.-PEACE.....
Monday through Saturday they're closed on Sunday they open at 8 in the morning but I don't know what time they close and yes you can go after the day that you went there but it will be 30 days after would the next time you go
an id that Catholic Charities uses to keep track of people eating, reporting in for the night, etc. Almost like a homeless person resource I.D. card
Salvation army Owens and main
ID, Proof of address you can go once a month you have to take proof of ID every time you go.
Social services does provide assistance, if there's someone to receive you on the other end they're able to verify. Be aware that It's on a case by case basis if the community has the resources available. Hope that helps you in your journey.
Yes they help the homeless obtain their SNAP (food stamps and/or medical) assistance right on property. They also help with WIC for pregnant women and food for young children. They feed the homeless hot meals right on the premises also. The location is within walking distance to the Salvation army, which gives the homeless shelter and a place to sleep and the Shadetree women and children shelter is right across the street from Catholic charities. The children attend Catholic Church so they won't miss out on their education. I hope that helps :)
Yes you will be assigned a new day
