SALVATION ARMY USED TO BE A FREE HOMELESS SHELTER, BUT NOW SINCE A FEW YEARS AGO....THEY CHARGE MONEY TO STAY THERE & YOU HAVE TO CHECK-IN (STAND I LONG LINES TO HOPE YOU GET IN) (RAIN OR SHINE) AT A CERTAIN TIME & LEAVE WITH ALL YOUR BELONGINGS EARLY IN THE MORNING. THE HANDICAPPED & SENIORS HAVE PRIORITY TO GET INTO THE FRONT OF THE LINE & WILL GET IN FIRST. WHEN I WAS THERE A FEW YEARS AGO...THEY WERE CHARGING $7.00 TO $8.00 A NIGHT TO STAY THERE & IT'S MOST LIKELY GONE UP SINCE THEN ! GOOD LUCK !!! IMAGINE THAT.....A SHELTER WHERE YOU HAVE TO PAY TO STAY !!!!
