I was put in jail on Nov 24th for missing a DUI class until Dec 30th of 2017.due to jail.time.lost my job and apt. Have been homeless ever since,a good friend of mine has let me rent a room but I have no $ to pay rent can I be helped with rent money?

They have to own the home and write a letter for you with their contact info. Take that to Social Services. They might help for one month. 400 bucks.

Hi Jay--we have a Resident Empowerment Program that can help you get back on your feet that will offer a sleeping quarters, support, food, clothing and help with employment. We conduct orientations M-Th 3pm at Catholic Charities Client Services Office. We also have a day and night shelter if you need to use until you get started. Day shelter 7-3pm everyday Night shelter 3pm - 7am every night I hope this helps you!
