Very nice place. I was impressed with their staffing, considering Lake Erie Metropark (the one I live next to) is on year 3 of having the wave pool closed. The beach is beautiful at LSCM, however it stated there was no swimming allowed. I couldn't find the reason. Possibly water quality issue. Whatever the reason, it didn't stop people from swimming in it in lower 90s temps. One more thing. The young man at the grill was working all by himself handling all the orders.. he did an excellent job.. the chicken sandwiches were really good!

Great place to spend time with family and friends. The lake is nice. The park has swimming pools too. They have many parking lots.

This was our first time here. Totally worth the $10 parking. The water park is $5 extra per person.. hopefully we can do that next time. But this place is huge! Many things to do. Could enjoy the whole day here.

The area is gorgeous, lot of things to do with family. The playground is huge. There are golf ⛳ area, volleyball areas, beach ⛱️, a water park, bicycle 🚲 rentals. The forest is a great area to relax while walking.

Yes you can buy a daily pass for $10 or an annual one for, (I think) $40.
Park hours: Monday-Friday 6am to 10pm. Saturday & Sunday 6am to 11pm. Park office 8am-6pm daily. Nature Center Mon.-Fri. 1pm to 5pm Sat. & Sun. 10am-5pm
Yes Tents can be erected
No it's not. Metro park passes are different than state
10 dollars for a daily pass 35 dollars for yearly pass. At any metropark.
Yes the water park area is an additional $5 per person and the splash pad is free just across from the water park
County, the license plate upgrade does NOT get you in for free. Learned that a few weeks ago.
The name change was approved by the Huron-Clinton Metroparks Board of Commissioners Dec. 8, 2011.
Yes, of course, there is a wide open area, nice and clean.
Pool's so deep that it's gonna be really fun whenever it reopens again.
$10/day, $40/annual tag. And, if you SAVE your daily tags, you can apply them to cost of an annual tag!
Yes, the bathrooms are open. Make sure you have your own hand sanitizer.
Yes
Usually they stay open until park closes. Unless you have an evening event you are having there then they keep them open until after your event
Lots of shore access between the boat launch and marina. Also lots of water accessible to canoes and kayaks in the swampy areas to the left of the boat launch.
There is pool lakes and beachs but i would check to safty lvl of water
Most areas have both, bring foil to put down on the park grills. and picnic tables can be moved with two people as we have dragged several in an area to seat 50+ folks...it is first come first serve thing so get there early on nice days.
There are plenty of beautiful spots to just relax and enjoy the beauty of the park the water and the gorgeous sunsets. A few areas are geared toward children. My husband and I go all the time. Get the pass and in 4 visits its more than paid for. Remember that you can go to any of the Metro parks with the pass. It's so worth it. We go to Lake Erie, Stoney Creek, Kensington, and Willow. Go explore! You'll love it!
No sorry
$5 per person, unless under 30 inches tall, then it is free. Lockers are $0.50
I would prefer going after office hours… less people
It's $10 for all vehicles. $40 for the year pass
The pass is only good at Metroparks, you can get the list of parks at the website
Not sure...the website will prob have more information or you can call
The park fee as any Metropark fee which is 35$ annual sticker or one time fee around $10. The beach was closed since last time I been there.
$10 per car per day
One of the two piers is out of commission, but with the high water level, you can fish from any of the banks now.
i think it is just follow the social distancing rules
Playground is open now. The splash pad is still closed
pool is open, my understanding is you pay extra for a session, when seasion is iver they kick everyone out and clean and then resume
I would imagine. Everything else there is a go!
Yep the beach is open. The boat launch is open . The playground is open
Bring your own there are grills to use their and no real place to buy beer
Yes it can
It all depends on weather..but there is plenty of room for a crowd..
I didn't take mine, but it's a metro park. I won't call first to check their guidelines
You get a ticket to display on your windshield. If you call the park they are the ones who can answer. They are very helpful.
Firstly, you can use the gazebos for free, by paying you are guaranteeing nobody else can use the gazebo for the day. In other words, you are paying $200 so that all of us other taxpayers CAN'T use the gazebo. Secondly, the networks are funded by a millage, not the state parks budget. You pay 21 cents per thousand dollars your home is worth. The average home costs in our area are around $200,000, so on average, you pay $42 per year for clinton Huron metroparks maintenance. Plus $35 for an annual pass (which is only required if drive into the park). That gets you access to 13 metroparks. 25,000 acres of hiking, biking, boating, baseball, soccer, basketball, football, fishing, swimming, 10 nature centers, 3 mobile community education centers, and literally hundreds of free events every year including concerts, movies, dog adoptions and more. We should all be appreciative of the great privilege we have to have such a fantastic local parks service.
We bring our dog here. I don't believe they are allowed on the beach but there is plenty off places for them to swim in the park. We use the jet ski/kayak launch.
11am-7pm
Yes. It used to be called Metropolitan Beach.
You can walk or ride bike roller blade skate board in for free
$5. For pool entrance band. Cost to get in park also.

Passport on your license plate is for state parks. The metro pass is for metro parks and is 35$ for the annual pass.
I think it depends on the weather but usually around 5pm

No, just a lot of free beautiful views and experiences to be had.
No
Contact the park administration about donating a bench.
No. I doubt there are any concerts held here. The website is usually a good place to look.
I recommend checking the website before going. Swimming is frequently stopped throughout the season because of contamination. This park does have a pool and splash pad area in the event you can't swim at the beach.
I've heard that it's very reasonable compared to similar places, but I'm sorry that I can't give you an exact number. I'm sure if you call them they will give you any and all information that you're looking for.
The other answers are correct. $5 per person, under 30 inches free
Their is a train that has limited hours over the summer. It runs out to the point and back. But nothing from the nature center.
They can't go in the beach area. It is clearly posted. We have taken ours near the boat loading area when it wasn't busy.
Yes, life jackets anytime, anyplace. Swimming lessons available at the YMCA.
Yep, just watch out for the areas with signs that say no grilling.
Idk but I heard that ain't good water man
They will be doing boat rides later this summer. My guess is after memorial day. They have some sort of lake st clair cruise.
Lake st Clair Metropark is part of the Huron Clinton Metropark system and has nothing to do with a Michigan state parks run by the DNR as some are saying. You do not need to be a resident of any particular place. You could live in Ohio and buy a metro park daily or yearly pass. You can also buy a combined Huron Clinton Metropark pass with Oakland County parks pass. The Michigan DNR state park pass can be purchased for 10 dollars and it is part of your Michigan license plate registration. That's a whole different park system than then Huron Clinton Metropark and Oakland County parks.
May 1st
Not yet, but hopefully soon. Their poor bucket had seen better days though, so hopefully it'll be safe for them
You need to either purchase one time entry ticket or have a pass to enter any of the huron metroparks...
Yes on a leash some very well trained ones i see on the beach without leash. But yes you can bring a dogs
10$ entry fee is always there -_-
Yes
$4 for adults, kids 11 and under $3
Consider getting the annual pass. $35 for the year for all metro parks vs. $10 per visit.
