Does this park has open water swimming or only the swimming pool?

There is pool lakes and beachs but i would check to safty lvl of water

Lake St. Clair Metro Park has a Sandy Beach...But due to sewage overflows Metro Beach has seen closures caused by high E. Coli content in the water. So if you are going to Lake St. Clair Metro Park for specifically the Beach check with the Park Beach Closures. The Park will still be open to the public even when the Beach is closed due to high E. Coli content in the water.

Metro Beach has both and a small water park for kids

Is this beach water open to swim in 2021, or is it still cold due to ecoli?

I've never swam in the pool, but the splash pad is super fun for the little ones.
