Unemployment in Nevada is absolutely awful. They take the employers Side and don’t want to pay people. And when trying to fix an issue on the account if you are not sure of your answers they hang up on you. Awful government entity, pay people their money that’s deserved to them don’t make the People mad

This system is a joke. Governor Sissylak is destroying Nevada. I have been waiting months for DETR to finish paperwork on their end. Its ridiculous

There are none..the state unemployement office on StLouis is closed until further notice..the system is overwhelmed and not functioning properly..
dial 2 instead. file a new claim. it will ask for your ss and your pin. it will then tell you you've already established a claim... would you like to talk to someone. follow the instructions to get in the call back and they will call you back. I started calling in at 8am... got through at 830... got a call back at 1130
Im down! I have a hard time believing Im the only 1 willing to participate... i set up my claim back in October and I have never once been able to get thru the phone system. How do I reach you to set this up?

Sometimes, depends on the circumstances. Save all evidence, i.e., text messages, emails, voicemails, videos are accepted as well. Good luck.
Check the documents tab on the portal should have a letter there
Not true for 2 reasons. You have to be let go by the previous employer without it being misconduct. Retirement does not count. Also you have to be looking for a new job.
What is a good number
I think we can blame Governor Sisolak for the shutdown of the physical UI offices on this one.
I been apply since March I was working only 16 hours a week and I was reported then I called DETR and the employee told me I have to wait for 8 days but never called me and never paid me no money they told me to send my pay stubs and I did it. After several times I been talking to diferente DETR employees FINALLY somebody told me somebody is going to called me next week on Tuesday, employee called that Tuesday morning after 6 months and she threatened and told me if I was reading the unemployment book if I know what that word means FRAUD” so I told her yes I know that word but I don’t know what is her problem about it because I never received not money from them and I don’t own nothing from DETR she told me she will contact my employer and she never did because she called and my employer put her in a brief hold and she hang up, after few weeks I called again and employee told me she never did her report and I have to wait and is supposed to pay all my money but they never did.
The facility is not open to the public.

So im about to print out all of my paperwork and go down and demand ang answers to the Multiple Appeals I had to file in my case that was supposed to be reviewed 7-10 business days but nothing and thats been since August
Honestly I'd hate to say, the entire te they said they were helping the time during the pandemic with the "600", a week even if you were paid that or not, created instances were they believe people that shouldn't of received it, received it. And now they are trying to say that fraud happened an they're trying to crack down on it, to me sounds pythetic. If you were going to help the people for something you created than HELP! DON'T then try an say there was a default, or some fraud happening so somehow people have to pay it back or try an continue with the fact of complete rediculousness. That FRAUD HAD ACURD. Be a human being an accept what you created an the help that was needed, thanks for always showing what people fail to see.... Sorry for deferring from the question, but that is due to the delay an not accepting ones case witch I find sad . THIS PANDEMIC WAS TO MAKE EVERYONE, N EVERYTHING APPRECIATE WHAT WE ALL TAKE FOR GRANTED, AND BUILD, REBUILD, CREATE THE GREATNESS WE NEED BE
No, we are closed to public visitors, and have no idea when our doors will reopen.
I was denied regular uemployment so what is the next step I take
Call them and ask
I min the same situation, mycase open pending don't know what unable to talk to no one not even an email or update nothing I got a job thru an agency because them are no help whatsoever
same problem says open there is a balance but a I guess we will not be paid
That is the same thing that happened to me. I'm still waiting too.
Ive had to email multiple times. Highly recommend that
Unfortunately you have to just keep trying to call them. It's a pain in the neck but their system is horrible and that's what people have to do due to the covid virus. I know of a few people that have been calling for weeks in fact even months to try and reach someone and they cannot. I wish I had someone that had told me a way to do it so I can tell you but I don't. Good luck.
It will be mailed, or on ADP payroll app/website if your employees uses this.
Whats the reason she stopped receiving payments in July?
Ok
No.
I had gone there a few weeks back because i wanted answers and so i got there super early planned to sleep in my car in hopes of bekng 1 of the 1st people to see someone. . Well 8am,9am,10am rolled around and it, was just as busy as it was at 3am. Not a sole insight! I am very let down and disappointed how nevada has treated their own people in regards to the PUA Situation..
I'd recommend calling between 8am and 5pm. I think those are their hours. Hope it helps.
Sorry to burst your bubble but you most likely will not be speaking to anybody from detr today pretty much by 9:30 a.m. their cues are full for the day until closing (8pm). if you call within the first two minutes of the phone lines opening up at 8 a.m. you will most likely will get somebody answering your call between half an hour and an hour and a half of waiting. GOOD LUCK
If you want clarification on it call there open from 8am to 8pm pending resolution means an adjudicator has to review it first like everyone but if you call just keep trying they will answer all your questions and it helps speed up the process
I got 2 payments and then they had a computer glitch. And have not received any more. After 3 weeks I finally got through to the PUA call center and was told that they were working on it and that they had all ready corrected the problem. I was told last Thursday to file my weekly claim and there should not be any issues. Well that’s not the case I still don’t have a payment date on the weeks owed. I am figuring it’s going to take me another three weeks to get through to anybody that still won’t have accurate information.
Active Issues means there is some Unresolved Issue the UI people are working on. For me, since I filed my Claim using my Cell Phone, the AT&T signal went "Overseas To A Foreign Country Celltower", then back to Nevada, so they sent my Claim to the fraud department because it looked like I was from a foreign country, trying to scam the Nevada UI system. When I got someone on the phone, from the Adjudication Department, they had me Upload a photo of my Nevada Drivers License, and a hand written statement declaring that I live in Nevada and worked in Nevada. Supposedly that will clear up the issue. I hope I don't have to drive all the way to Carson City to see someone in person, to show them I am actually in America and not overseas.
Heres how I finally got through. When you call in. DON'T dial 3 to talk to someone. Dial 2 to start a new claim. It will ask for your SS# and pin. It will then tell you your claim has been established but would you like to speak to a rep. Follow the instruction to get a call back. For 7 weeks straight I called and would dial 3 if I got through. Only to get hung up on. Dialing 2 instead... In started calling at 8am. Got through at 830... got a call back at 11am.
If you make more than your weekly benefit, then no. If you make less than your set weekly benefit, they will pay the difference, and you must keep filing your weekly claims to receive that difference each week.
Let him be, get someone else
I'm in the same boat as you. I call every morning with my phone and my wifes phone side by side. 1900+ calls from 7:58 until I get through only to hear the queue is full and no call backs. Then I fax the same letter every day. Nothing fixed, nothing changes.
no my bf and i have been trying to call too for 3 months... NOTHING. we're literally going broke cuz we just used all our savings.. how are we gonna pay bills? *crying*
Give it time to kick in it has to take a couple weeks before anything post then you’ll get a Kim sum back from what you already filed so do it and just be patient trust me
Huh?
Detr.nv.gov
I have been unable to get through on the phone to anyone to ask a ? About my PUA claim for a week now, I recieved my Bank of America debit card a week ago and I still haven't gotten my money, the web site where I filed my claim says that I was approved so does anyone else having the same problem?
Contact the appeals department. They can take care of it.
My suggestion is to stick with it. Work to the best of your ability. Be on time and don't call off. If they fire you, call and file a claim immediately. What ever you do, don't quit. Good luck
No, unfortunately you can only file online or by phone. There's no longer a physical location to file a claim.
