Horrible store , I had to wait over 4 hours , to get an answer of , the phone would have to be shipped out , to a different location , Matt the store manager was not helpful, neither was the woman helping me. Received a text a week later saying that the phone was ready for pick up, went to the store phone wasn’t there., asked to speak with Matt he was no where to be found later saw him eating a salad in the Conner of the store . Called Apple ,support via phone, and was told to go back to the store, for additional information . …. Hate this place ! Go to a different location if you can, this location , staff needs additional training ! And professional development , and better leadership skills.

Came to pick up my new iPad. That went smoothly, but I had one to trade in that had been attached to my online order. The staff said they could still assist me to trade it in while at the store instead of through the mail. They went as far as to remove my screen protector when they realized they could not do the trade in since it was attached to the order (except I had told them that from the beginning and they said it didn’t matter). And instead at that point they refused to help me further told me to call apple support and stuck the screen protector back on as a bubbly mess and sent me on my way with no apology or further attempt to help or replace the screen protector even when I consulted other staff they dismissed the situation.

Very lazy staff! Do not waste your time there! I went to buy an iPhone and was told to get appointment. Next day, with the appointment, they made me wait for 25 minutes. I could see at least 9 staff members doing nothing but talking to each other. Finally one guy came and said he don’t have all the colors in stock, go buy it online. Very badly managed store!

Very rude employee!! I have been an apple customer for a decade. This it the very first time I had a terrible interaction when I came to pickup a new IPhone. The person could provide me with a receipt for a new phone I just purchased and came to pick up and asked me to call 1800 no. When you walk into a physical store and then get directed to a call center just to generate a receipt is unbelievable. She refused to give me her name when I asked. In the absence of the name this is the person manning the phone pickup at 5:30pm on March 19, 2022. Thank you Apple great customer service at your Columbia Mall store 👏👏👏 Her colleague in the colorful mask was very helpful in finally getting this resolved which was a good Apple employee gesture as it should have been from the very beginning.

I've worked for mobile carriers since 2013. When you purchase an iPhone from any carrier you have a one year warranty directly from Apple. As long as there is no physical or water damage, and the phone isn't jailbroken, you should be covered. Make an appointment, back your phone up to iCloud, and go with proof of purchase. They will likely just replace the phone if you are eligible.
Just go and pay! They will take care of you when you enter! There is a person standing at the door to help you!

I never took my phone there to be repaired, but did my iPad! They tested the iPad to see why it wasn't working and gave me a new iPad due to factory problems with my original. Hope this gave you some insight!

I made an appointment for that very situation and I was told you would have to call apple to have them send you a label to ship yoyr laptop to apple. Wait about a week turn around time. Be prepared to be with out a laptop. They dont change batteries at the store. You ship it out.

They do have walk in appointments but the wait is very long about 2 hours to be seen another 1/2 hr or more to record your issue and about 1 1/2 hr to fix the screen . My kid just went with an genius bar appointment and went to AMC to see Star Wars while waiting to get his iphone screen fixed

I am no Apple employee. They di accept walk in but usually there is about a 2 hour wait . The screen repair will also take about an hour. But even with an genius bar appointment you will wait .

The mall used to close around 9 or 9:30pm pre-covid, the hours were set back to 7 during the height of the pandemic, and now the mall will slowly be changing its hours back to 9... all of the stores inside need to start complying with the hour changes though.... and with covid still affecting income, stores are less willing to stay open until 8, so they still close at 7... with all of the stores closing at 7 still, the mall has no reason to allow customers to remain inside if there is nothing open My source: i work in the mall, and hear the talk from management
