i have been waiting nine weeks now for some form of payment on my unemployment claim. Someone over there should be going to jail for stealing our tax money and pretending to be working there at MAUUI . When i call there it sounds like music blasting , everyone taking to each other, just having a good ole time for themselves ! I waytched the holidays go by and had no money. Nine weeks to wait for help is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE !!!

Probably because they don't have enough people to answer the phones you're on hold for over an hour I know exactly how you feel I've been waiting to get benefits since May still waiting for my appeal decision we're just taking forever they just don't care about the people that they help or should I say not help

Even after following the video as guidance and resetting the password it still doesn't open and there is no way to get through on the phone , it's a run around of options for a callback then dept. Of unemployment hangs up after 3 attempts to try and schedule a callback . It obviously is not as easy as you claim it to be. So now I am out of income since before Christmas and I am an American citizen born and raised.

Robert Pardee...to them you're just a number like I am, I've been for my appeals to come to a resolution and I was told to wait 120 days or more...just for the hearing not the money so go figure. They know they have a problem but they're not proactive nor they care to resolve other people's matter...I'm not just bashing I'm stating the facts, 88% of claims goes under certain period time if not very long wait and when we say: 88% of people...that's a lot. 🙄

I called a couple of times...if you have a late appeal, in the end I was told to wait 120 days for their determination...the appeal department won't be able to set a hearing date until the regular department of unemployment do their part...they say for people to check their inbox from the same website...don't expect a email from them or you'll missed out any important information 🤔

Yeah they did this too me inn December. Denied me anyway despite me giving them what they wanted. Said I had open in claims in other states. Still waiting for a hearing to get my eligibility back. Someone stole my identity and started collecting under my name

I finally got thru to the office but everytime it's something different now my benefits had ran out amd I had to reopen my claim for the same job and the same information been waiting almost 3 months and there saying that there just waiting on an adjuster but when you go thru my pages it says everything been done and what I'm suppose to get each week and what not should I still call the governor and ask them for help unfortunately I'm about to lose the last place i can stay at since this pandemic started and ended up losing my house????

Hi from what I know You probably won't qualify because you have worked, then gotten laid off and made a certain amount of money to get unemployment. Unfortunately the Cares Act which is the PUA is no longer available.

Call the number follow language prompt and follow current claim prompt then I believe you wait till the end of recording and the put you on hold till an agent is available

Has anyone else had problems with the i.d. me? I keep getting stuck in a loop and can't get to the part to put my ID in. I have been on hold since January. You should call and make sure you did everything. I was supposed to answer questions they never sent me. Ended up answering over the phone and that was almost a month ago.

I am still waiting, was told last week the adjustor's ar just catching up they had a huge backlog was told if I don't hear anything by tomorrow to call back so tomorrow afternoon I will be calling again so they can just tell me I'm waiting for the adjustor.. I haven't received any unemployment stimulus is gone to pay back and current rent. This delay is stopping me from getting help if they deny me I could at least get the pandemic unemployment not as much but it would pay my rent.

From unemployment? No. You'll receive a 1099-G in the mail.... You actually should of already gotten it, if not you should probably call them.

At times I do know I have been asked if "I want to receive a call back" with PUA, But honestly I would just wait on hold longest I've waited is an 1.5hrs on a bad day

Your probably better off uploading your Documents online, It's faster that way and you won't have to worry about it getting misplaced, Because of Covid-19 though I'm sure you can but there probably short staff

I would say you should call and SPEAK TO SOMEONE!! Unemployment needs to confirm it with your employer that you are not back to work yet and you still need to collect!!!

PAU is for gig workers...like people who work for Lyft, Uber etc....If you had a regular job then you should of applied for UI benefits. Have you not called them? If not they open at 8:30am call first thing tomorrow.

Your best bet is to do it online or call them as soon as they open at 8:30am and see what they suggest doing.

Im the same way. Mine is usually deposited on Monday afternoon so I assumed I would have it today but I dont have it either. I can see the deposit on the unemployment website. It might just be because of the holiday and the banks system didn't process it. I hope we have it tomorrow..

Its supposed to be on or before September 15th and I believe its a lump sum of 900.00 if you were eligible for the weeks they are paying it out for which are August 1st, 8th and 15th.

Not through unemployment but your job may have short term and long term disability that you can sign up for. Typically it pays 60-70% of you pay depending on how they have it set up. Otherwise you should have 40 hours of Massachusetts sick time that you can use if you have accrued it through your employer

Keep trying to return it or save it. When the Unemployment Office realizes you owe them they will start taking it out of your tax return and such until its paid off completely. If you have it saved then you can pay them back lump sum without them digging into your paycheck, taxes, etc... Either way, they WILL get their money back and they won't forget :-/

They'd still have to at least pay you for the 4 days you are not working. If your boss could force you to work 1/5 days they'd ALL Be doing it. 4 days is considered full time so they could offer you 4 days, but not only 1 day.

Actually finally got a hold of someone today and they admitted mailroom is overrun and even if I mailed stubs weeks ago multiple times it honestly might still be sitting there. I don't think you can right now. Most of the departments' phone lines are shut down. You will have to fill out the callback form on the website. I filled it out three times and finally got a call a month later. They told me everyone is working from home and completely overloaded with lists of people to call.

Your disqualification paperwork has the appeal application generally pages 3&4. Or you can appeal on UIonline. If you're having difficulties contact customer service for assistance.

Yes, the amount of money you receive will be based on the amount of hours you worked during the seasonal job. In my case I work a seasonal job (Lawn Care) so the amount of money I get is based on the amount of hours I work between April and November hope this helps

You can go into the walk in center at 19 Staniford St. in Boston and ask for a letter or a printout showing you are not collecting any unemployment.

Just keep calling on your assigned day... if it hangs up on u or tells u that due to high call volumes to try again ....just do exactly that... call immediately back over and over till u get through.. it is a messed up system but I manage to do it every winter as I am a seasonal worker.. as a landscaper I have to rely on unemployment every year for a couple months and it's super frustrating

I don't think you have to save them as long as you submit them to unemployment they should have them on file from what I hear they don't look at them anyway and if your claim has run out they don't need them unless you get an extension
