Nice place. It’s a very large resort which has its pros and cons. I didn’t love having to drive to the pool. Great place for young kids or older folks. Not much to do for couples. But there’s deer everywhere which is a lot of fun. (Came in May). Very clean and relaxing. Area is great for hiking, parks and caverns. That said, I wouldn’t come here twice. The resort has extra costs for almost all activities. Pools are very nice but they close early and each closes one day midweek so you only have one crowded option. It’s kept clean though and they do maintain a good website for info. Happy with my visit.

We are so excited, one of ours best vacation. We stayed in Woodstone resort, our 2 bedroom unit was renovated, freshly painted very nice and comfy. Close to playground behind building. Walk distance to recreation center where was outside other playground, inside - outside pool, fitness, game room, pizza -sandwich deli. In resort is also 2 golf course, indoor-outdoor water park, adventure park,go kart, lift to top of the hill. We had so much fun with family and is one of best place. Thank you very friendly stuff for service and we would like to return again soon.

Great resort. They have lots to do and the mountains are absolutely gorgeous. You will need to reserve a lot of their activities or you won’t be able to get in. For the rooms when you leave you do have to do some of the cleaning yourself. 10/10 will go here again

Nice vacation spot for the skiing enthusiasts. Good restaurants. This was our first visit for time share. We were placed in the oldest apartments on the property. Everything was very much dated. They do offer great deals for joining. Hold out as long as possible.

Can u exchange thru RCI to go to Massenutten for a week end
Every room we have stayed in has a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and accessories. Most, but not all rooms are full kitchens, though some only have hot plates. Check with the reservation desk for details.
Yes you can! They also have showers to use if you'd like once you leave! No food or drinks allowed inside, but there are food options inside including a coffee and sweets shop! :) Don't forget to bring your own towels!
We had a condo last week and it was part of the unit ...free to use
Very nice spa, had a couples massage there two weeks ago.
Yes you can fish there , they have a large pond that they replenish fish , you have to purchase fishing permit
My family loves Hanks grille and bar, one mile from Massanuttan entrance.
Yes, they will send it back at your cost
No you do not. Its open to the public
The water park does not have a hotel attached. The snow is made from November 1st to April 1st Hypothermia Season.
Massanutten Resort® has a no-pet policy throughout the Resort and the Projects. Fines of up to $500 may be incurred for violating the no-pet policy. In addition, charges may be assessed for cleaning or damage. That is on there web site. That pulled the information from. Www. Massresort.com
The Waterpark is limited to the outdoor slides and the pool. Most activities are paid for at its location such as at the waterpark. Some activities such as golfing; tee-time must be scheduled/booked but paid for at the course. Hope this helps.
Yes depends on what week and areas qod buy it if I didn't already have one there I love that place
I dont think so. There are many kennels/ borders near by tho so do a map search. Google search kennels near massenutten.
Just adding my two cents worth - we have owned at Massanutten for many years and currently own a 4 bedroom (2 bedrooms) at Regal Vista. Furious that owners need to pay a resort fee since we are still paying a maintenance fee. They should only charge non-owners. Just my opinion
Unless it is a service animal. No, pets are not allowed.
RCI id's? Woodstone at Massanutten #5711 The Summit at Massanutten #3640 Regal Vistas at Massanutten #C152 Massanutten's Mountainside Villas #0174 Eagle Trace at Massanutten #2293
Massanutten is the place to go! Grab yourself a timeshare book your stay ahead of time, and enjoy the plentiful activities they have to offer, you won't be disappointed.
There is and I believe they range in price. You can also drive to several wineries which would save you on bus transportation,
Yes they usually do
You can also check with their reservation desk, center, and or their group sales dept.
Luray Caverns is cool. The resort has a lot of cool things like the zip line, the water park when it's warm but they do have an in door pool. They have a lot of activities throughout the resort.
Yes, as far as I remember you do need one and we bought it at the store they have on premises by the main entrance and also registered online with the state for a small fee. They could walk you through the process at the store.
It snowed over the weekend and left a dusting in the forests. You cant use the tubing unless you have a reservation for tubing
Dulles for nearest international, but there is a regional airport. Shenandoah regional airport
The indoor pool was open last weekend when we were there. No slides or outdoor pools open. Not sure of the cost.
No. We asked a year ago, they will give you web sites that will sell for you. We haven't posted ours yet.
Weather should be good, and the golf courses are always open.
No refunds no reschedule its been this way for a long time
They have two fitness center with weight and cardio equipment. Also swimming pools and group fitness classes.
Yes. There are several restaurant options. Most or all condos have a kitchen with appliances and dishes so you can bring food too.
Sorry can't tell you that because there are different rates based on time of year and different types of memberships. We stayed there with only the cost of an RCI exchange rate because of a membership we have in a time share. Call and see.
just be sure you can afford what they are presenting you and never say yes to the first offer because they always go down to get the sale..
I don't know of any but monitored well at hot tub at rec center. Hot tub 4 feet. Wonderful and outside.
No that's not normal but more indicative of the people above you.
Call the resort and I am sure they can give you some info. The resort is close to Harrisonburg and I am sure there would be rentals there.
Check in is horrible!!! It has gotten worse over the years.
Do the sales tour. You can get more resort amenities than the owners for the sales tour. Set your watch though
You can call the Resort tell them you were recommended by a owner or ask about last call and they will book something for you.
No pets. There is a dog kennel very close, with in 3 miles. Do not use this one, we were told Massanutten stopped recommending this one, find another one.
Everything but the Woodstone condos, are gated, or you go thru security. Very Safe.
I was sort of shocked that somebody asked about our trip to Massanutten. It was absolutely gorgeous, there was always something different to do in every season. We were offered a timeshare for one of two rooms or even the two rooms for $10,000 we said no way and the next offer that they asked us was could we get this timeshare for $4,000 with $350 a year maintenance. Very big difference there in prices don't you think.... Personally, that kind of thing doesn't work for us because with that kind of money we could go to all kinds of different places in different things. if you have any more questions feel free to ask if I can answer I most certainly will, take care...B.J.to be honest I don't know if they checked out credit before we got there or even if they checked it if we decided to get the place but they did a stress could we handle such and such payments by the month
There's a La Quinta in Harrisonburg that accepts pets also.
The charcoal bbq grills are available for their guests on the property across the resort. Guests need to provide their charcoal.
No
LaTasha, contact me through facebook or messenger, I may be able to help you get the condo rental you want. I am an owner and I sometimes sell off my extra weeks. Todd Zerbe from Selinsgrove, Pa
For the resort rooms I believe you're fine as long as you give more than 24 hr notice but call to be sure.
Unless you come in on a promo or they change to short stays which they have been considering for years. Contact the sales department for options since they give 2 night stays for being delayed for hours to listen to sales pitches.
No. It is not apart of diamond. Its an RCI traded resort.
We stayed in the woodstone suites last week and had plenty of room. we had one Queen size room and 1 with 2 single beds. I was a little surprised to see single beds instead of full size but it worked for the family. Even when other family members came to visit our room we have plenty of space.
Regan National is about two hours away, this is a regional airport. Dulles is about 2.5 hours away (+/-) depending on traffic and is an international airport.
There's a foodlion in the town of Elkton about 7 minutes away, or the city of Harrisonburg has more options (Walmart,Martins, Kroger etc)which is about 10-15 minutes away.
High 80s to just shy of 100° F. This can change. Good trick with Google is you can input a location and "weather" and it will show current, projected, and historical temps.
Which one? Dulles International is about 2.5-3 hours away, whereas Regan National is perhaps 2 hours away. Richmond is a bit more, while multiple regional airports are not so. You can Google Massanutten and "airports" and it will show you.
No but bring towels for the water park and pool
This place is where to enjoy nature to replenish yourself with good food good air up in the mountains with deer running and there's a pie on the mountain
Yes.. .free with stay.
There is no week 60 since there are only 52 weeks in year
I didn't notice any info regarding the outdoor Water park during our recent stay. You may want to call down and ask.
I believe for the Full season its $450 or they have a special value pass that's $235 but cant be used open to ckose every day. There website breaks down all the lift ticket prices
Contact the lodge, they can transfer you to that department or the sales dept can refer you.
Unless you are there on a package or promotion these activities are not free. If you are there for the sales promotion, they may provide a free coupon for the day or on specific activities.
What do you mean bath house... There are restrooms in every public accessable building.
For a full experience a 5 day stay is excellent, but 3 will just the same. Its about what you do with your time while you are there.
Absolutely. They offer beginner ski lessons, tubing, ice skating, a wonderful water park and more. Check the website for details.
Great place to go relax. Four season resort. You almost donot have to leave the mountain.
There is also swiming indoors snow skiing resturants ziplines etc... The keep you busy if you want
They are a full service resort equipped with their own fire and police station. So accessibility is important for everyone. You can't make a profit if you can"t provide a way for people to spend or make money.
We ate out in town.the Mexican restaurant is great. We went there twice doing our stay. My sister in laws got drinks the 1st night .They love them .The 2nd night we went I got a mixed drink with the rest of our group. It was really very good .The food was delicious .I recommend going to the caverns we loved them.
Not sure. We decided not to buy a time share after there were too many discrepancies spoken during our presentation
I've seen just about every animal native to the area except bears.
They are right by the main entrance to the units.
Yes, there are several Pickleball courts that you can use. I believe there is one at both the Le Club and Woodstone tennis courts
Call the reception, tell them you want to cancel your trip
Lots of things to do year round. The have an indoor water park and swimming pools, arcade, fitness center, plus 1 year round PGA golf course. And That's just a small sampling.
..... What Spike said! Yeah uber will go just about anywhere as long as you have the money to pay
8 miles away. Make a right turn at the bottom of the entrance.
Ski, snowboarding, tubing, just about everything except golf and outside swimming
Why what isn't working?.tell me maybe I can help
